If I was in charge of Israeli strategy I would target the missiles no matter where they were. Collateral damage is unavoidable in war. Even the U.S. accidentally bombed the Chines embassy (Whoops) during the air campaign in Kosovo. The mission objective is to destroy the missiles, who else gets killed in the process is up to fate, or God, or Allah and shouldn't be of any concern to those who have to get the job done.

Easy answer, target the rockets. Israel already warned everyone in the area they decided to bomb and gave them ample time to evacuate. If terrorists are storing weapons near your home you either should find a way to discourage them from operating there or vacate the area.
I think it's common sense. If you run out into traffic with your eyes closed expect to get hit by a car. If you live next to a terrorist safe house, during a time of war, after you've been told to evacuate, expect to get hit with a missile.
I think that politicians have cultivated this idea of anti-septic war. And by this I mean that they lead the general public to believe that technologically advanced western powers have honed our military to the point where we can kill the bad guys with a missile, miles away, and not cause any civilian causalities. While this sounds good it is simply not true. Whenever you wage war there will be civilian deaths. In fact usually more civilians will be killed then enemy soldiers. That is just the way it is. It's important to accept this knowledge, weigh the benefits against the cost of human life you expect to be lost, and decide if you should carry out the mission or call off the attack.

The Israelis have no choice but to defend themselves. It would be unreasonable for us to expext the Israelis to allow themselves to be slaughtered like cattle. The death of noncombatants in conflicts is always unfortunate.
Anti-Semitism is completely irrational, but pervasive in the Middle East and Europe. Some people claim that the Israelis need to "merely" move to Europe or a different area. This, of course, completely disregards the fact that the area Israel currently controls was almost - if not completely - uninhabited at the time that the Allies carved up the Ottoman Empire following the end of World War 1. The Arabs only cared about that tract of land after the Israelis successfully turned the desert into cultivated land.
I really would like to see peace in the Middle East, but it is hard to fathom, considering the fact the the charters for both the PLO and Hezbollah states the goal of the complete destruction of Israel, and the leader of Iran would like to see Israel "wiped off the map."

Who has to be blamed for it - the Labanese Government is having a consderably strong net work of inteligence in their country - While Hisbol select the places to store the ammuntion and explosives what the inteligence guys were doing? They should have advised them not to store in the midst of the civilian
population. But everyting got misfired! The death toll of the civilians are more than the hisbol the trouble makers. Israel is sure that the terrorists are sleeping in between the civilians. So they punished lebanon so harshly - reasults I noticed in a web site - more little childrren are are torn to pieces by the intesnsity of the explosion - God can help them to come out of such a great trouble! Meanwhile some religious leaders started propogating in their Friday Prayer Sermon. So the people will boil their blood
and more deaths will continue soon. There won't be any peace in that area of Middle East due to unrest and retaliation.

The Israelis should get out of Arab lands and move to somewhere like Eastern Europe. Everyone will be happy then (except those who believe fantasy books filled with magical promises from fantastic deity beings).

I would blow up the target sites (that's my mission and my enemy)-Israel did give those by standards enough time to evacuate and if they decided to take it as some sort of joke or just play stubborn-it's their own fault if they are blown up, it's only inevitable. It's sad when the innocent die, but don't be fooled some "innocent" are not that innocent and could be helping the enemy.

it is so hard to say, that is a really tough situation. it would be easy to say that its the civilians fault that they are there, they are living in a war zone its there own fault they didn't get out earlier. But at the same time, it would not be right just to sacrifice them

are you for real ?!
When someone F occupy your land, do you expect to love him? why don't you think of the Jews hatred to all of human kinds ? not just Muslims, but Christians too.
Try imagining someone taking your land and killing you brothers and sisters, killing your parents and depriving you from all of human dignity.... tell me what would you do ?
try imagining that, your son, the one you are talking about, is killed in front of your eyes by Israeli soldiers, and you can't do anything about it. not just that, try imaging that after killing your son, they destroy your home and kick you out of your land...... tell me... would you still love them????? i don't think so......
Now go back in time a little bit.... tell me... how did the Jew ppl occupy this land ??? was it by peace and trying to live with the ppl that were originally living in the land ???
one more thing..... Allah means GOD....... i donno if you believe in God or not...... but it's not nice to say Shi** ................ you seem to be a very nice person.... heh.... God Bless you, and may you someday find the light.......

I totally agree with Israel that they kill anyone live near any military facility or even military man. including the UN force. the Israel inelegance has found that UN has rockets so they had to pump them. about the civilians Israel asked them to evacuate and leave their homes and their lands it is their responsibly
