They are not stupid they are out on a vendetta.
The reason why the world does not stop Israel, because the world is controlled by Jews. Just look at the USA.

They are out to destroy a race...does this sound familiar? now let me see Germany 1930 to 1945, 6 million Jews destroyed?

It all started back in the 50's the Jewish settlement, the need for water. Large wells are on Palestinian soil. Jews want to control that. Invasion of Palestine in the 60's. Palestinians lost their land, right of ownership as this was given to Jewish settlers.

The Tyrant is Israel and not Palestine.

Well Jews are known never to forgive or forget, although their God teach them to do so. They call themselves the chosen ones. HA!
No one is chosen, we are all of the same nature.

The contra to your question is why hasn't the World taken out all those terrorist movements that threaten World peace and stop making people feel Israel is acting unfairly. I dont live in Israel but I would be damned scared to do so.Since 1948 they have been under some form of attack from various Groups. I dont see the Israelis as a threat to World peace but I certainly see Al Quaeda and the like as the biggest threat on the planet. Maybe if the World rid itself of these kind of elements then Israel could enjoy some peace with it's neighbours.

Why on earth would you acuse Israel of being stupid? They're the ones who were attacked!
OP; you would have looked less stupid if you'd posed the question as;" Why can't the world stop Israel from being so stupid?"
John178707; How on earth can you blame Bush for this? The Muslim Jihad against Israel began when Israel begame a country in the late 1940's.

Martini: Israel isn't stupid. You are!!!! What would you do if you were attacked and had rockets shot into your country every day? Sit back and relax, or ask for a get-together with the people who are killing your people? When Pearl Harbor was attacked did the US merely sit back and shrug it off? It took 4 years but we put millions of Japs in a pine box for this atrocity. Israel has the right to fight the Hezbollah any way they see fit but they try to keep the bombs from killing innocent people. They even drop leaflets telling citizens to leave an area that is about to be hit. This is not conventional warfare whereby you warn your enemies that your coming to get them. Hezbollah has sworn to exterminate Israel (they are merely the pawn of Iran) and the USA as well. What should we do? Let them achieve their goal?

I think that they are only doing what Bush and his government have demanded. If war against countries in the Middle East is the result of a couple of terrorist attacks in the USA then think what reaction there would be to a mere threat? The Americans' arm Israel so stop arming them and they will run out and produce a level playing field for all, in which case the Israelis would not attack anyone because they only do it, like the Yanks, if they have overwhelming force on their side.

One thing that is easy to overlook is that most of the world does not think like Americans do. And in particular, most of the world does not even think about "world opinion." And the almost no governments in the middle east are concerned about world opinion. The terrorist group Hezbollah is surely not concerned about what the UN or the Western nations think. They were so stupid as to attach Israel, and start their own annihilation! By now we ought to know that Israel will not listen to anyone. Why? Because they have not listened to the US, and we are their allies! I do not know what to do; both sides will not listen!

I think Israel should have been set up on a small chink of a huge country like Russia, rather than having it set up on a small country like Palestine. Now there's conflicts due to this. Before Israel, the middle east wasn't much of a problem, not counting The Crusades. After 9/11, it all went down like a house of cards.

It is not up to 'the world' to stop Israel, Palestine or any other nation from acting to defend their people. This conflict is far more complicated than can be discussed on here, the history goes back to WW2, and nothing that America, Syria or anyone else can do will stop it. It has to resolve itself, and that, unfortunately, means a bloody, violent war.

It seems simple to me. The world cannot stop the Israeli aggression because it has the patronage of the U.S. which in turn is driven by Jewish lobby in Washington. (No, folks, this is not claptrap, it really exists.) It is so politically incorrect to oppose Israeli policy, that honest popular opinion is a driven underground and ignored.
The U.S. single handedly stymied the attempt in Rome to broker a cease fire. George Bush, and his junior partner Tony Blair, have severe misconceptions about the 'real politic' in the Middle East and will continue to blunder along as long as they close their ears & minds to the rest of the world community.
By ignoring the West's long term strategic interests in the region is the parocial interests of Isreal, they are simply perpetuating and deepening the crisis.

well, the answer looks clear from many of your replies - it seems there are thousands of people out there who believe Israel is not stupid! If that is the case; the rest of the world, who think Israel is totally dangerously whacko, can't stop them. Funny old merry-go-round, isn't it?

Because we've been walking on eggshells around Jewish people since the 2nd world war... and if we try and tell Israel that they are wrong, we are accused of being anti-sematic Nazis...

The time has come to leave the past behind us, not forget it, but look to the present and the future and deal with it appropriately.
