why does everyone think im some racist. i just want to know how you all feel. i personally dont mind but i would think others would.

Yes, I served with a guy named Mukhtar in the US Air Force. We were very close. He was about to return to India to meet his wife. He was very nervous and didn't want to have a butt ugly wife. He was very sweet. I used to tease him, and he was my date to the Christmas party on the base. He was not very affectionate, so I used to give him big hugs on purpose, which he hated. He was one of my good buddies, and after our tour was over I lost touch with him. He was the first Muslim guy I met, and I had a lot of respect for him.

Friend, why you are asking this question? For the defense services the Religion is not a main crteria. One should be faithful with the entrusted job, hard working, co-operate and excecute the oders that is issued. Don't ask any question to superiors and do what they say or obey the orders.
"Resepect to seniors and justice to juniors" is the motto of any defense force.
I put it like this " Army is a large pond in which the lion, tiger, bear, elephant, monkey, deer, rabbit, squirrel and cow drink water together without harming each other" !

Why? Why does it matter if a Muslim is in the military or not? You really that scared of Muslims, fearing they can sabotage the military. I feel like kicking your @zz for been a coward.

The answer to both your questions is, yes. I have and they are.
Granted, I didn't talk to many as I respected their religion and as an unmarried female it would be improper of me to be seen speaking to them in public.
