Nothing will change after Bush leaves office. A great deal of the Muslim world is at war with the west and with Israel. Iran and its leader want to usher in the global war to bring Islam as the victor over the planet. This is Islamic prophecy, to reign over the entire earth and vanquish the unbelievers.

The next president will also be a Republican and he or she will also follow the Bush doctrine. The middle east will became more and more democratized. The terrorist will have fewer and fewer places to hide.

So, our relationships with the countries in the middle east will continue to improve.

There are Democrats in the Senate that believe if a Dem. were President, we would be on the same track in Iraq, and the Middle East would still be at war the way they are now.

No, I do not think our position in the middle east will change. It is not our leadership that is the real problem. It is the radical Muslim leaders who have been saying for years "American is the great Satan" and other such endearments that are the problem. No matter who gets elected, as long as the United States Government backs Israel, as long as radical Muslim Clerics continue to teach that America is "the great Satan" nothing will change.

for the worse...as soon as bush leaves office, some dips*** lib will come in and let all the terrorists come back to power. our country will suffer from terrorists that are allowed to do what they do and the liberal president won't have balls to do anything about it. after that the whole world will see the libs true colors

I think the country has to do a lot of good to undo its bad image... if you are talking about trust i would say no country would do so unless compelled due to circumstances to fall in line. I think it might be a wise idea to at least reverse most of your policies if only to recover a bit of respect as a civilized nation.

No, because America is a predominantly Christian country, so the countries(I hate that generalization), or the groups of people will still see us as as supporters of a religion that is not their own, and naturally will resist anything us "Western Caspitalists" try to say to make amends.

Perhaps if the new president is a rational human. Our policies under Clinton about North Korea were improving but he was voted out and things went down hill...besides how could it get much worse?
