Rodents

When I put them back with the mom she attacked them. I grabed them up and took a minute and placed one of them near her and she attacked again. I have removed them and took them in the house. Is there any way to get them to smell like her again. I tried rubbing my hands on her then them. But she still attacked. There were 5 bunnies in the litter. I am afraid to mix the other 3 in with the two that she attacked. Is there anything I can do?? HELP!!

My hamster is always chewing on the bars of his cage. What does that mean? Is it bad for him? I give him toys to chew on but it does not help. Why dose he chew on the bars more when it is hot out?

What are the best traps or things to use to get rid of the mouse or mice?

My two guinea pigs have always gotten along really well. They are female and about 9 months and have always been together. They get equal time out with me (hours a day) and receive the same treats, etc. Well, tonight I noticed one of them has been chasing the other,nipping at her, and jumping on her back and side. The one being purused is a bit smaller and I'm getting worried. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do? The smaller one is on medicine, could the other think shes getting a special treat?

Okay, my rats keep on pushing bedding through the bars and it normally sticks all over the bars and stuff, most of it falls out of the cage, but ive just cleaned them and they are straight at it... so its not dirty...
They do it with all of their bedding... but I use 2 types, this cushiony type of white bedding and this blue shredded dish cloth material type of bedding...
Also when they do it... the bedding rides up part of the cage and its always in the same bit.. so could it be a draft or they dont like the bedding or anything else?

it keeps on passing out and then getting up and passing out. it also won't open it's eyes. also his hearts beats really fast then slows down then speeds up etc.

I have been wanting a pet for some time now and I have found that a rat would be a perfect pet for me, but the only thing that bugs me is this; What will rats do for me? By this I mean will I have the rat for a very long time and the rat doesn't love me. What do they do as pets? Fall asleep on lap? Stay on shoulder? Play with me? 1.Should the bedding in a hamster cage cover the bars on the down side or not? How "high" should it be???

I bought my rat a new cage with a hamster wheel attached to it and it's been 2 months already and she still hasn't used her wheel. She just sniffs it and then hides under the little stairs that the cage has. Why isn't she using it? Is something wrong with her?

I have a skunk in my window well right now and I want to kill it without it spraying. Years ago I read an article in the newspaper about a skunk getting into a family's basement and spraying, spreading it's stink via central air. It caused tens of thousands of dollars in damage, and homeowners insurance didn't cover it. I'm afraid even a licensed trapper will cause it to spray from fear, so i want to poison it to death then call someone to pull it out. Also it is going nuts right now trying to get out, so i'm affraid that it might spray just from being stuck in there overnight. So i need poison. Any thought?

I got my hamster a few months ago and I went through the normal growing pains with her while trying to tame her. After awhile things started going well; she didn't like being taken out of her cage, but after she was out, she was fine and didn't bite me. She'd crawl all over my hands and arms without a problem and even curl up in the crook of my arm to sleep. Lately she's started biting again and I have no idea why. She'll crawl around on my hands for a long time and then suddenly she'll just chomp down on my hand or wrist or whatever is near. I just had her out for about 15 minutes and she bit me 5 times.

Does anyone have any idea why she might have started biting again?
