My dwarf hamster is sleeping alot!!! She is cute but she is not that healthy either, she sleeps all day and never uses her wheel that works fine! She is getting chubby! Is it possible that I can also give her a weight loss plan her? Also a way I can get her to stop sleeping all the time?

By mistake :( He snatched it out of the holes under the box and I don't know if this McDonalds fry will be ok for him or not because it's so salty.

Ive tried EVERYTHING to assure him that everything is fine but hes still freaked out! I talk to him softly and let him sleep during the day with no interruptions. Ive had him for 2 wks now. He has an awesome cage with a slide,tunnels,a wheel,and a lil hamster relaxing room (part of his cage). He has treats that he loves and a run-about-ball (but he doesnt like that). Everytime I try to hold or pet him he gets freaked out and runs the other way (when I just slowly put my hand in the cage). I tried holding my hand still and putting a treat in my palm but he wont eat them from my hand. I fed him treats from a spoon and he gets it. When I do get to hold him hes always eager to jump off . Please dont tell me to be patient or he'll grow out of it. Ive heared that way to many times for this situation. HELP.

I have to two mice and they are 4 weeks old, i got them yestuday, i want to tame them quite quickly and get them used to me so i want to put maybe one of my old socks in their cage to get them used to my scent and to play in, is this safe? can it poison them by chewing? can they pull bits off and choke? suffocate? thankyou

I have a syiran hamster and she sleeps in her tubes {design for large hamsters}
The tubes have lots of little holes in the sides to get more air in.....
I wanted to know is this safe and does your hamster do this?

she keeps on sneezing.... i always let her drink milk...

yesterday when i was feeding her some milk, i was out of balance and both of us fell down... then her nose was bleeding! huhuh...

will my hamster die?!

pls help me... what should i do with her colds? i went to the vet but theyre close.. and i think its expensive...

both of my 2 rats have Mycoplasma, they are grunting, sneezing out snot and red liquid is comming out of their noses. on top of that they are loosing weight.
are they in pain? do they need to be put down, how long will they live with the disease.
i give them a clean cage and fresh vegies. and i use oz-pellets as their litter.

I have a cage with a dwarf hamster in it for my sister, and I want to know how to wrap it. I'd say it's about 1 1/2 foot by 1 1/2 foot. I don't want it to just have a bow around it, either. I want her to have to OPEN it. But it has to be able to breathe, etc etc. Thanks!

I just bought my syrian hamster and it seems to be very small anyway I brought it home and it was really shaky it couldnt walk straight without shaking a lot, this morning I found it really cold and it was still breathing but it was frozen....Im keeping it warm, and since this stupid country has no good vets. They only told me to wrap it up in warm cloth, Im doing that but what else could it be? and in other words is it going to die??

My syrian hamster makes very weird noises when she sleeps not squeeking, kind of like snoring and low pitch noises.Is this normal?
Does your hamster do this?

My rat was biting me. Not very hard, more like a bite to find out what I was. I just got her and I was wondering how you train her not to do that. I was also wondering if it is okay to give her water in a small bowl instead of a bottle.
