Rodents

i've tried live traps i have the worlds smartest rats! they get out of the life trap by pulling on the door. I don't want to kill them but I also don't want to be their owner!
keep in mind it has to been humane ( don't want the dog or husband getting into poison)

Here's the story: I have two Gerbils. I bought the first one not knowing much about them (the guy at the pet store told me they were pretty much like hamsters, WRONG!). After doing research and discovering they were social animals I bought another one and tried to do the split cage method to introduce them. It didn't work and they tried to kill each other, so now they live in separate cages. They both have wheels, chew toys, treats, houses, and coconuts to keep them occupied but I just feel like they are bored all the time! I get them out and interact with them several times a day and I set my bathtub up with toys and stuff to play with, but they want out after a few minutes. I just don't know what to do to keep them happy/occupied! Or is it just Gerbil nature? Any tips on how to keep them entertained? Sorry it's so long and I appreciate any help!

As a guest on a radio program last night, Corsi said he believes Bush 2 is looking for a reason to start a war with Iran, and may be using the British hostages for this purpose. A massive concentration of U.S. naval power is now present in the area, apparently ready to strike. Why do political leaders who are in trouble most often start a war (or, in this case, ANOTHER war)? Is it a cynical ploy to remain in power, to divert the attention of voters from the most important problems all around them? A move to bully Congress into supporting his aggression no matter what? Whatever became of diplomacy instead of armed conflict which we can no longer sustain?

What did we ever do to you people? We just work hard to earn a living everywhere we go. Why do Americans like to poke stereotypical fun that Chinese men have small penises, that Chinese women only know how to say "me luv you long time", that all the Chinese look alike, that even if a Chinese person sings an English song perfectly then that is still a joke, that if Chinese people have slanted eyes then that's a bad thing, that a Chinese food delivery man delivering food should be jumped and killed, etc. etc., ad infinitum. i don't think the American parents try hard enough to teach their kids NOT to be racists, and in fact, may even instigate racism upon their young minds so that eventually you have a messed-up and chaotic country full of racism and bigotry. The shameful U.S. media is the biggest culprit in all this. My question still is: WTF did Chinese immigrants and Asian-Americans, in general, ever do to you Whites and Blacks, huh?
