She is itching alot but i do not see fleas on her. She also has been shaking. she cleans herself alot, in almost like she is itching herself, and she also does this random burst of energy. The itching thing is whats making me alittle worried. I dont see flees, but she is shaking after she itchs rubs up against parts in her cage either her tubing, her wooden house, or goes in the corner of her cage and rolls around scratching. She also goes up and down both of her tubing alot, before the last week she would hardly go down to the second level of her cage. could she still have fleas? what do i do about that?

I have already asked this question but I am desperate for some advice. I discovered that one of my Guinea Pigs was bleeding from its rear end and took it to the vet. The vet said that its rectum popped out and he needed surgery to fix it. According to the vet maybe the other Guinea Pig that he is in a cage with may have attacked him or raped him or something like that. Are there any other reasons why this could have happened? Since I took him to the vet I have been keeping them in separate cages, but they seem lonely and frightened. However, I'm scared to put them back in together, as this problem may occur again but it is very hard maintaining two different cages for them. Any ideas on what I should do?

So, i just got my gerbil set up for my 2 gerbils that I will purchase tomorrow. I got a 10 gal. aquarium, which is what the pet websites think is good for 2 gerbils. It has a medium wheel, a igloo, and a ceramic dish. Is this not enough room for them? I mean, i will let them run in their ball and i will handle them lots, so what do you think?

My rat has a tumor on her armpit. At first is was really small, hardly noticable, but now it's getting bigger. It doesn't seem to bother her, she doesn't chew on it or dig at it or anything, she doesn't seem to even notice it. I heard that if I take her to the vet and get it removed that the stuff they use to put her to sleep would kill her because rats are so small. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
