do you think rabbits should be kept inside or outside. I personally think they are ment for the outdoors but I've always kept mine inside, because theres too many cats around my neiborhood.

I know this question sounds silly but is there a way my male and female hamster live together without having babies? They already had 2 batches. I feel really bad separating the mom and dad. They seem to be lonely without one another. Please don't take this as a joke. Answers are much appreciated!

My neighbor hit and killed a wild rabbit/hare while weed whacking but there was a baby that was orphaned. She brought it down to my house to take care of. It is in our barn in a cage with hay and water. I don't know the age but it has a full body of hair and is about 8" in length. It is not a newborn. What do we feed it? We won't keep it but want to care for it until it is old/grown enough to care for itself. Any suggestions? Please don't say call fish and game or wild life rescue... we can do the same as them and care for it until it is ready to go on it's own.

My son has 2 pet mice. One of them has developed a large growth/tumor on its neck. I'm not sure if I should let nature take it's course or have it put to sleep. It doesn't seem to be in pain, it still runs in the wheel, eats and drinks normally. It would be nice to hear from someone with more mouse experience than I have.

In the last few days, my hamster has been developing some strange habits. For example, whenever she climbs the tubing to her crittertrail cage, she bites the plastic when she enters, bites the plastic tubing when she's inside, and bites it when she exits. Also, she bites her wheel.. She hops into it, then runs for a mere few seconds, then begins to gnaw at the edges of it. She's like clock work. I just don't know if this is normal behavior.

last night i had both of my hamsters in my cage and this morning i woke up and there was only one. My mom said that it could have ate the other one. I didn't think that was possible.
Is it? My dad said that it could have got out. But we looked over the cage and there was no signs that it could have gotten out. Please help!
