okay i have this male hamster and when i got him, he was normal, but now his butt is huge.. i think his testicles grew or something... but im not sure and sometimes they get bigger than other times... i dont know if its normal for this to happen... but i looked it up on the internet and they dont look as big as his... this is a strange question i know but i dont know what wrong... please let me know.. thanks

My hamster was like that as well, he was quite a small hamster, but yes his butt was massive. I think some hamsters just are bigger than others. I did notice though, that when he was asleep, then I picked him up, they were there normal, large size, but after holding him for about 5 minutes, they almost 'retracted' back into his body. So dont worry too much about it. :) I think its fine. Hold him for 5/ 10 minutes & see what happens.

This is very very normal. I got my male syrian a year ago and my god, his balls are huge. Were you aware that a male hamsters testicales make up one third of their body weight?
They will normally hang out of their body like two pink snooker balls!! this will more likely happen if your hamster has just woken, is sleepy, or relaxed, or warm. Some hamsters testicals are much bigger than other hamsters. this simply means in the wild your hamster would be more likely to succeed in getting the female hamsters pregnant. You basically have, like me, a stud for a hamster. Be proud! LOL!

It's perfectly normal for a male hamster. They may seem disproportionately large considering the size of a hamster, but that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with him.

I had a hamster that did the same thing. You probably bought him as a baby and as they grow up, their male parts get larger; it kinda looks like they have a big butt. It's perfectly normal.
