Take it out of its cage multiple times everyday, for long periods of time. My little brother had one and never played with it and it turned into a psycho hamster. Play with it as much as you can, it will get used to you quickly.

When I got my teddy bear hamster, I took it out of the cage and fed it cheese doodles until he began to like me. It toook a little bit, but he became very trusting with me because of those cheese doodle thingys.

Give it treats and take it out like 3 or 4 times a day. It will get used to you and know it can trust you if you give it a treat.

they need 1-2 days to get used to surroundings, then take em out a few times a day and play, or on the bed, or exercise ball, use treats to get its attention too.

One way to tame a Hammy is to feed it from your hand. They love peanuts and almond nuts. Cucumber is also brilliant for them. I also used to let him/her sniff my fingers as i put the food in their bowl.
It is so worthwhile because they are the sweetest friend
Do not ever take him/her out of their nest, it is like you being grabbed from your bed at midnight and it will upset them.

You have to hold it alot for it to get used to you. That's how I did it.
