are rats really good pets? i mean like teeth wise!!! or will it be ok in a loud room? or something? does it need attention ALL day?

i have built a almost 3 by almost 4(there wasnt quite enough room for an exact 3x4 so i had to overlap grids) it is a 2 level and i have made a sort of stair case out of cardboard boxes covered in fleece, but im pretty sure that this wont last for ever but i was wondering how to make a ramp to lead up to the second level? i tried to make one before i came up with the staircase idea but it seemed very flimsy and i wouldnt feel comfortable letting my guinea pigs go up on it any ideas would be greatly appreciated =)

I have two female guinea pigs well i sure hope they are two females. They have been chasing each other and the baby one is trying to hump the other one. There privates look exactly the same.. So are they just curious and messing around or is this natural or was i given two different sexes?

I just move in to a apartment. The people beside me have roach's. I try a cheap bomb it dnt work. and I try bait. I have to kids and I dnt want them to get roach's in there ear.

Her toes are all swolen. My rats are both females and they are young. I'm not sure how young though. They have a three level cage, lots of room for them to run around. I feed them Nutraphase Gold. One of the rats (the smaller one) is a hairless dumbo and the bigger one is a rex. I have noticed that the only time the big one bites the little ones toes is when she is on one of the upper levels and the big one crawls up under where she is standing and bites her toes that are stcking through. They seem to get along fine. I would also like to know what kind of things to put on the wounds.

I've changed it now, but for a few monthes my rats were kept on pine! (I didn't know untill yesterday that it was pine.) Yes I know it's not allowed, but why?
If it has had an effect on my rats then what will happen? How do i know if they are okay?

I have decided to breed my mice.
Could I be able to GENTLY touch or hold the baby mice?
Would the mom get mad?
I want to socialize the mice as much as possible to insure they become the nicest less-skittish way possible.

I bought 2 winter white female hamsters a year ago and they got on fine for 2 weeks then started fighting, so I seperated them. The thing is they had a lovely big cage when they were together but now they have to live in separate small mouse cages. Is it possible to reintroduce them? PS one is quite aggressive and a bit manic and the other one is quiet and placid.

I know I can care for a Sugar Glider, so I can care for just about anything. So please include exotics in your answers, please only give information pets your work with (at least on a weekly basis), I was thinking Chinchilla, Gerbil, Black bear hamster (short coat), maybe a rat, mouse, duprasi, robovorski, and anything you can think of, also Flying squirrels would be very cool, just give me any information on a rodent that would make a great addition to my life. Any one who says do not get a glider has noo chance at a best answer, people don't understand that for a glider to make a good pet you need to get it at or under 8 wks. old, so you can bond with it, they make very good pets if you bond correctly with them. Any information would be great. I have some experience on all of these animals, but I would like your input on which you like and why, and care information.
