You may have a couple of pranksters on your hands. Some pigs, especially long-haired ones (don't know why), like to play with their water bottles. You have to watch closely from a distance (don't let them see you) so you can catch them in the act. If this is the case, you'll need to put a brick or something underneath the sipper spout to help soak up some of the water leakage. Check your pigs for wet chins--thats a dead giveaway.

On the other hand, you may just have thirsty pigs. Some of my pigs just drink alot! However, keep in mind that *excessive* drinking is a sign of diabetes.

Check their bedding below the water bottle to see if it's soaked-- your little guys could be simply playing with the water. Our boar does that & would often go through a bottle in 1 day until I raised the bottle so that he could still drink easilly but it was harder for him to knock against it.

Dont put vitamin c drops in their water. Not only does it make the water taste foul but the vitamin c disentegrates due to the light.

If they are getting a wide variety of vegetables you do not need to worry about vitamin c intake at all.

You should NEVER buy the droplets to put into their water. Its not as sufficeint as giving them veggies and fruits. They probably need vitamin c FAST!

Um... I don't know what Vitamin C water is, but I think you're just supposed to put little drops in heir water and then they drink it normally.

Do you think maybe it could have dripped and leaked out all the water?
