Wooden spoons, cardboard tubes out of toilet roll or paper towels, cereal boxes, any thing along these lines. Don't put any plastic in there as he may eat some and get sick or die.

Hi Sweetie,
Going 2 a 2nd hand store & finding all kinds o' baby teether's, lil rattlers, toy anything, & u'd be amazed at not just how cheap they r, but how new they r as well, & plenty to chose from. I would be carfull of the texture
though. Like something he/she could bite into & get lodged in the throat would concern me! U can actually buy a big bag of
toys they put together cheap, wash & throw
out unwanted. Best o' Luck on Hampster Shopping! He/she'll be happy & kept busy

Okay -- you may laugh but do you have any Leggos???? I made some toys for gerbils I had once (for them to crawl through and play) -and they ended up chewing them up! I'd check with China for the lead content in the Leggos first though -- ha ha -- gerbils lived!!!
