Clean the cage , REALLY GOOD. Disinfect everything with pet-friendly cleaner. don't use any of the old bedding. It will make it a neutral territory. Put the new piggy in first, let it get used to the cage. Then put the old piggy in the cage/hutch. If they nip and chase and sniff, that is normal that are getting to know each other. If they start to fight at all or DO NOT LIKE EACH OTHER AT ALL. Then you might think about getting two cages or getting a different piggy.

Introduce them slowly and on neutral ground, somewhere the older guinea pig hasn't been before. Let them sniff around and get used to each other and leave them together for around 10 mins. Repeat this each day gradually increasing the time you leave them together for. They should get used to each other after a while. Your older guinea pig may be more dominant and try to show the younger one who is boss but as long as the younger one understands that it should be fine.

They will be fine; guinea pigs go by instinct, your older one will probably be thrilled.
