What is a good big or small dog that I could buy because I've had a Golden Retriever before but it dieed so I don't know what other one to get.Please Help!!

One day I found a hedgehog in my garden which is surrounded by a meter and a half high stone wall. There is a wooden half-door, but also about a meter high.
I noticed the hedgehog around for a couple of days in a row, then it was just gone. Is it possible it went over the wall or climbed over the door?
I didn't find any bones or blood so it's unlikely that it died or was attacked by cats.

I've been riding for about two years now (on and off, not regularly).
I'm 5'9", so I don't know if I could ride a smaller horse.
I'm 12 years old.

I was wondering, would this horse be a good choice?

There is a bill going to the Govenor for him to sign to ban Cock Fight in this state. First offence is a first degree misdemeaner, second offence is third degree petty misdeemneaner and the third offence is a fouth degree felony.

This State also has laws against dog fight but are not enforced.

If the Govenor signs this bill do you think that any of the Mexicans who enjoy this sport will stop?

I don't think so. Pit Bulls fight in pits and nothing happens to them, they just plead down do a lower charge and walk out the door. Cock fighting will be the same.

I think the reason they allow either one is because there are a lot of Mexican Nationals living in the State and in Mexico it is an everyday sport.

Both are against the law but it seems the law turns their eyes in another direction and ignores it.

What is your opinion of the laws of the State?

I was gardening and making a new brick patio area off my front lawn. While shoveling the dirt out, I found some grub like insects. My children want to hold them and play with them, but I need to know if they are safe first. Can someone please tell me if they bite humans and if the bite can hurt you. (If it does: what will happen when we are bit?)

I went horse riding a while back and decided not to go again, however since I've not gone, the horse I rode wont move at all, it is not caused by any illnesses, whereas before when the whip was brought out he'd canter off, now he wont move at all, and doesnt respond to anything. What could be wrong with him???
Also the first time I wasnt there, the horse he normally goes out with went out so he was left in the barn with the other horses, when the other horse and rider came back I was told he'd got all worked up and was sweating all over.
What could be wrong?

I brush my guinea pig every few days. He shares a cage with two other guinea pigs and he has semi-long hair (might be a cross breed between a peruvian and a sheltie, I'm not sure, I rescued him) but after a day of not brushing him, his fur gets really messy. He also smells worse than the others, and sometimes it's really bad. I sometimes have to cut out his tuggles, they're so bad that I can't control them with brushing! I've taken him to the vet, who said there was nothing wrong with him. I can't shampoo him because it's still a bit too cold to be putting water on him. WHAT THE HELL CAN I DO? Please help,

I just saw a video about some lady who bred cats to look like tigers. The cost is between $800 and $4,000. When asked if anyone would pay that she said something like: designer people will because they appreciate things like that.
I am a huge animal lover and am aware of the countless animals out there in the world with no homes. Why do people still breed animals? I work with animals, and pure breds are more likely to contract health issues, yet they are more desirable over a "mutt". Pure bred dogs is like breeding within a family over and over again.Mutts live longer, healthier and happier lives. Yet countless mutts are put to sleep each year because people would rather go to the store and buy a living creature that looks "good".
Don't get me wrong, if an animal needs a home, no matter what breed it is or where it came from, I will do what I can to help.
I just want tp know why people don't understand that living creatures are more than a dedigner accessory.
