depends on what u want they are both interactive and fun.cats use a litter box usually so you dont have to have a fenced in yard,you can leave for longer periods of time as long as they have plenty of food and water,they just take less work.dogs have to be tended too a lot ,need to go out often etc,they both take a lot of training but like i said both are just as much fun and lovable so choose what you have time for good luck

I think that is a matter of personal opinion and no one person can put a price on either of them as each persons pet is their choice--I have no preference on either--i have 2 cats and 2 dogs--looking into getting another dog.

It depends on many things, if you want a very friendly animal and a bit of "action" take a dog, if you want a cute and loving animal but prefer staying in your couch watching a tv, a cat is made for you.

I love them both!!!! I have a dog now and I had cats when I was younger. Both are wonderful in their own way. Dogs are sociable. Cats are calming.

I like cats better. For one reason because they are not as jumpy as dogs. For second reason they are not as noisy. All I am trying to say is, it depends on you and your personality, if you like to play around then, dog is for you. But if you like peace and quiet, cat is just exactly what you need. I like cats better then dogs. It's your turn to decide!!! :)

Depends on your personality. I love dogs but they need your attention all the time! Cats are more independent. I think they both make great pets and enhance their owners life.

i would say i cat because after they have been through their kitten stages they are very independant. if your a busy person they are great because they dont need walks and lots of attention. cats can be own their own for a while and not get lonely, and they still come back to their owner when they want some attention =) there great!
but.. if you have got a lot of times on your hands i would suggest a dog because there great company and its fun taking them for walks, it keeps you active!

Personally I would choose a cat as a pet - they are way cooler! Cats are more independant. They are interesting to watch when they are playing and are very intuitive.
Dogs are great too and very loyal - but more demanding.

I love dogs because they are great companions and very friendly and you can take them outside for works, runs, and playing
one thing is that cats are easier to take care off because they are more independent and they can be very friendly. also you dont have to take them outside to go to the bathroom and they wont go to the bathroom all over the house (unless you don't get them fixed)

i would say: If you want one to say inside all the time and keep you company when u sleep i would say cats. IF you want someone to go on walks with you and play catch, I would say dogs!!
