does anybody know a recipe i could use to make my new hamster a healthy diet... and if u kno any treat recipes too. i would just buy the hamster food but they dont have any of that here in my area. also, is it true that parsley isnt good for hamsters?

I feed my hamster with dry nuts, sunflower seeds, vegetables and fruits. give your hamster one type of food per day, as too much variety will make them develop bad habit and become picky. if you are giving your hamster dry nuts, make sure its not salted or oily. As for fruits, never give them citrus fruits, it bad for their health. Most of the vegetables found in supermarket are suitable for feeding hamster. Last but not least, remember to remove left over of from the cage, they attract ants and other insects.

yeah. put in some peanuts but make sure they do not have salt or it will kill him. you can also put in sunflower seeds, most hamsters love those. then you can give him about half a grape or half a carrot. that way he can get some juice.
