I was walking up to a gym for PE, when I noticed there was this house along the way, and there were four sets of two bricks, standing up tall, and there was a piece of wood laying over the bricks. There were four chicken, each with one leg tied up to the wooden board above each thing. It was sad and disgusting to look at, my mom said we could report them, under animal cruelty. But we never did. What were these people doing to these chickens? And was it animal cruelty?

[sorry if this doesn't make sense.]

Well I am not sure if our dog food was affected since we bank our food through our feed store. They said on the news over 90 brands of food were affected. One news story said it was rat poision which is caught in time all you need is activated charcaol and a vitamin K shot. But there was another news story that said the food was contaminated by pestisides. Which story is corret and what foods were not affected does anyone out there know?

My Spitz and Spaniel would cuddle and listen intensely when I would need to vent. However, the small dog I have now just does not want to talk about my problems. He just jumps off from my lap and goes in another room. How rude. Just kidding. We talk about good stuff and he does listen when it is good. Does your pet understand you?

I live about half an hour away from this place called Miwok Stables, I think i might try out lessons here but im not sure. I have been interested in taking lessons for awhile.

heres their website:

How does it look? Any comments from somebody who knows a lot about horses / taking lessons? Does this place look like it might be good for jumping and stuff like that?

I just recently moved into my boyfriends. My son and I have been looking for approximately 11/2 years for a chihuahua to adopt and finally found one. My boyfriend and his 3 kids each have there animals (about 20 in the whole household). I do not feel that I am being treated fairly by having one. He is taken care of completely. The problem is, is that he wouldn't let his ex-wife have one and it was the last straw. I know I need to move out but unfortunatly do to a work injury I am on hold right now. I don't know what to do. Can you help?

I'm twelve and I'm looking for a pet. I'm having trouble, because my parents don't allow snakes and lizards, and the pet has to be in the garage (I already have a cat and dog). What should I do??

I bought the female from a pet store who didn't keep males and females seprate. 21 days latter she had a litter of 10. Two died (1 still born, the other cushed during the birthing), 3 others were eaten by mother or cagemate. After the fur came in on all of the babies I noticed that 1 was much diferent than the others. All of them but one are dark brown like the mother and the odd ball looks to be tri colored. At first I thought he might be a hairless but fur started to come in. His is much shorter and really thin. He is also the smallest and of the bunch. Im intrested in finding out what type of rattie he might be. If anyone could help it would be much apreciated. Thankx

Is it fair to one pet, my mouse, if i go ahead and get two more pets, rats? i would feel a little bad for him, because i am the only one he gets to play with since he has no cagemates. he's only going to live for another 5 or 6 months, tops. he is almost two. should i wait for him to pass on before i get rats?

Recently, my parakeet died all of a sudden. It fell off it's perch and couldn't get up. Blood started coming out of its mouth... Internal bleeding? I dunno. <_< anyway then it was just there for 10 min twitching its last seconds it tryed getting up and running away had this burst of energy. i dont think its death was caused by any toxins or anything. and its death wasnt because it fell off its perch. maybe he had a heart attack? help me determine the cause of death, also im not taking it for a autoposy

Ok well I might be leasing this horse named Holden, and maybe I hope he will show sooner or later. He does have a race name I believe, but not sure. I need something to go with his name. He is very sweet, and about 16h, and is a black bay color. He has no face markings, and a few socks, his face is blackish but his muzzle is brown. He looks abit like a donkey, but is pure TB, he's so cute, and loves his face scratched! He's about 8yrs old also. He's a hunter/jumper.
His name is Holden.

Can anyone provide me with links to pictures of pet rats?

They should be cute, or funny, or showing an owner with their rats, smiling or something.

I'm making a powerpoint presentation to convince my parents that rats make good pets, and I just need some pictures. I want to put one on every page.

Thanks!!!

Ok so in many movies ppl kill animaks for their own lves but animals have feeliongs to! Like in Snakes On A Plane for example the guy feeds the dog to a snake just to save himself. I dont think that that is fair.
