can i put a electric yellow cichlid in a 20gallon tank with 6 tiger barbs 1 red tailed shark 1 pleco and 1 gold gouramimoving to a 55 gallon shortly

I was leaning towards the electric yellow cause i heard they were peaceful cichlids but is there any more peaceful ones that i can put in a 20 gallon tank Soon to be 55 with a red tailed shark a gold gourimi and 6 tiger barbs (all my fish are good together the tiger barbs dont harass the gold gourimi the are like good freinds lol

Outside of surface area, and a fuel source, what are the necessary conditions/parameters for your nitrifying bacteria to grow and thrive in? What outside of medications could cause a massive death in your bacteria colony?

yesterday
i was bored ,so i went to walmart(place i've never been to(my first time to walmart))as i walk , i saw the aquarium area,so i went in,
the first thing that caught my eyes are the live aquarium plants (bulbs)(2.95 eack packet)so i get the two kind that i saw.
hybrid aponogeton and hybrid ulvaceus(dwart lilly)
so i went online and google them
but as i read they are so many kinds and ways to care for them.
i dont know if it really work or not
what kind that they really are
how to care for the one that i bought.
please help me out(give me wedb(s) if you know about them/own some please tell me what they really are and give me some advice)

I got the tank a few days ago. I got a new filter and let the water condition for a little over a day. I just added a couple of fish yesterday afternoon then this morning I woke up and the water has a fogginess to it. It's not so foggy you can't see anything, it just makes it so the tank isnt as bright and pretty as it was. Is there something I am doing wrong, or should do? Or is this just what happens until the tank kinda settles? Thanks ahead for your answers.

There areno obvious signs of illness, no white spots, rubbing against plants, gasping, loss of colour. But about once a week for the last 6 weeks a fish dies. Just before they die they start loitering at the top of the water for a day. Once dead there are no other marks, apart from where the other fish have been eating them.

I was frying some oinions whilst changing the fish water in the sink and accidently my goldfish fell into the pan.

I’ve currently got a tropical 60-litre bi-orb and I’m wondering about how many fish I can comfortably accommodate. Over the last months I’ve added 9 neon tetras, 2 red swordtails, 6 guppies and 2 dalmation mollies (and 3 plants which are growing nicely). No problems thus far except for a minor snail invasion I’ve managed to suppress. Is that as much as I should add? I was also thinking of adding a couple of triops in a month or so once I’ve grown them a bit in a separate tank.

He doesnt move very fast anyway but now he just floats there and moves occasionly, i have recently moved him into a different, bigger tank, but all my other fish seem fine. His fins are a little bit torn. Dont think he is eating that well either, he seems very lathargic. he just isnt his usual self. please help worried :(
