the air bubbles only appear out of the carbon filters every 7 to 12 seconds and not continuously as they did when I first installed it. I have tried cleaning it and adjusting all the pipes. It still keep the water clear.

I just got a gold fish for Christmas (i named it Squishy) and a bottle of Betta food. I placed Squishy in the kitchen and fed it the Betta food. I noticed that Squishy wouldn't eat it so i got some gold fish food and yet it wouldn't eat that either. The kitchen is a bit chilly could that be it?

I want to know if my fish, a sucking loach, is dying. If my sucking loach, called scooter, is swimming at the surface does that mean he is dying? I clean his tank and put de-chlorinaizer in every week. Each night i put food in his tank and the food makes the tank dirty. Then he tends to stick onto a plant i have in the tank by the top part of the water. His head is not sticking out or his nose he is just like right below the surface. Does that mean he is dying? he does not stick his head out of the water or anything he just stays right below the surface and when he gets spooked he starts swimming around the tank poking his head out of the water during the day. But he does not do that right after I clean it. Does that mean his food is poisouning him?

I just bought a new betta fish and I feel bad because if I go out at night then he is in the dark all night. I also am trying to figure out how to get him to eat because I will drop his pellets of food at the top of his tank and he won't come get it and they will sink to the bottom so I tried tapping on the side and he won't come still so it sinks to the bottom into the rocks. Should I continue to put more pellets in there until I see him eat them or should I just assume that he can reach them on the rocks at the bottom?

My Discus fishes have some fin diseases(I saw some white parts at the fins) and they are quiet and staying at the upper corner of the tank. But they eat. We normally can't buy medicines that I see on the webpage from our country, Myanmar. So should I change about the half of water to add fresh water? How should I treat them if I cannot buy any medicine? Appreciate for your supports.

In the last six months we have had five plecostamus' die - first I thought it was the gold fish, so removed him. Then all was fine for a month or so. That one was in with a shark, an angel fish, and a catfish. Then the catfish died, the shark stressed and died and then we had the angel fish bottom up. It was in about a two or three week time span. Finally, started all over again, clean this clean that. Let it sit, added tetras (5), a female beta and a plecostamus. That was Christmas Eve. Day after Christmas the plecostamus was dead but we think we cooked him because the heater was registering 84. Fixed that, the tetras were fine with the exception of one who hung around the heater all the time even tho it was off (temp was stable). He ended up in the rocks day before yesterday. This morning, uh oh, where is the plecostamus? Yup, there he is, belly up on the bottom. So far so good with the tetras and beta. What are we doing wrong?

About four days ago I bought a tank and filled it with 5 angel fish, 5 black phantoms, convicts, carnival neons and 1 algae eater. The day after that my algae eater died. Two days later one of my neons died. Now it looks like two of my angel fish are dying. What can the cause be? I have the tank currently on 28 degrees celcius could that be too hot? Please help.

My two year old goldfish is staying at the top of the water. He acts normal otherwise but whenever you look at him he looks like he's eating something from the top of the water but theirs nothing their. They have plenty of oxygen with two extra bubble sticks just to make sure. Why is he staying at the top of the water? He doesn't have any noticeable diseases.
