I had a fish tank that needed to be resealed because the silicone was poorly done. They resealed it however they trapped air between 2 panes of glass leaving a bubble right in the middle of the tank. The store closed and I need anyones input on what I could do to remove the bubble without ruining the tank.

First, my heater makes so that there is tons of water, which makes the water level above the lip of the filter. It's freezing in my house, so I have to make the heater work. Second, my housekeeper whom I trusted to feed the fish over-fed them, causing one fish (a Sunset Coral Dwarf Platy) to die. Second, since there is tons of fish food gunk in the gravel, I tried using the gravel vaccum (air pressure) to suck up the fish gunk. But the aquaruim is too small apparently for the vaccum or I don't know how to use it. The pH levels and stuff are fine, but I can't figure it out.

I'm cycling a five gallon tank without fish. I know it isn't the best way, but I am using a bacteria supplement instead of fish, and since I do not have access to an established tank. I bought a testing kit, and I am wondering what I should be looking for with read outs as far as nitrate, nitrite, ammonia and Ph levels go. I've heard they are are supposed to rise and then zero out? Is this correct?

I'm only planning on having a couple of small fish (maybe a couple danios or cherry barbs, and a cory cat). Can anyone give me some good information or sources on the numbers I need? Thanks!

I have a chidlid tank (40 gal) I want to remodel the tank and put more rocks and maybe some driftwood. I like pictures of people's tanks with white sand instead of gravel and I was wondering if I could put sand in with freshwater fish. And if I were to use sand does algea grow on sand? How do you syphon water out during water changes without making sand go everywhere. Any info on this would be great... thanks.

Well I have a 10 gallon tank that has been set-up for about a month now, and I have about 6 little Zebra Danio's in there. I have been looking at getting a Blue Lobster for some time now, and have been reading up on them and just wanted some more opinion's on them from previous or current owners.
Thanks!

My fantail is in a 30 gallon tank with another fantail. both are older, one is 7 yrs and the one sick is 5yrs. The sick one is a calico fantail that stays at the bottom, does not feed much at all. He will swim to the surface for air or move if bothered. Once or twice he will turn on his side and then swim and straighten out. There appears to be no physical issues like ick or fin rot etc. We thought he was getting too fat, he appeared to get larger over the last couple months. The only other clue that must be related is that the tank has had issues with a white fungas(its white and looks like cotton until removed from the tank, then its like slime), it keeps growing in the rocks, I did a complete water and tank tear down and clean including the rocks two weeks ago but this stuff has appeared again. Help! I can't figure out what is happening. The other fish is fine swimming around, eating and protecting the sick fish by laying next to him.

I looked at a compatiablity chart is it says that Dwarf Gourami should have no problems with a betta...this betta also attacks the Ghost Shrimp in with him. I haven't seen him attack the Dwarf Gourami but he shows his fins when he see it, where he does not usually show his fins to the shrimp, he just nips at thier legs
