That's normal evaporation, my boyfriend adds around 5 gallons every 3-4 days to his 125 gallon.

Yep. I add 10 gallons a week to my 46 and about that to my 125. It's only 'dangerous' if you're putting in makeup water that's not the same basic temp and pH as the tank or if you didn't dechlorinate the water first. You can buy fancy systems to automate the process, but I'm too cheap to do that =)

This is normal if you have a Wet Dry system, especially with a sump.
Just make sure you use RO (Reverse Osmosis) water to top off your aquarium. The primary reason for this is most tap water and well water as nitrates in it and you can add to your aquarium nitrates by adding tap or well water when adding water for evaporation. For instance, the Nitrates in the San Gariel Valley of LA are 20- 30 ppm, you certainly would not want to add this to your aquarium.

That is normal evaporation, just top the tank off every day, so as to avoid rapid changes in salinity.

i would not think of so. i can't see the place there'd be any threat in it. the only difficulty i can think of is the jar being sufficiently small that the temperature rises larger than it ought to be, yet you would be attempting out that so which you will see any difficulty like that upward push up long till now you get a fish in there. At any fee, i do no longer think of the size of the field impacts temperature in any respect; the gadget nonetheless has a max temperature and the water won't get any warmer than that till there are exterior forces appearing on it. sturdy success with the attempting out; i desire it works out!
