Oh Gosh! Ive had clean water for my 4feet tank with 9 Goldfish Lionhead Ranchus in it. Just last nite, Ive noticed there is an whitish growth on one of the fish's head. Ive decided to get this yellowish powder thing which claims to heal fungal infection in fishes and put in into the water. Fine..then this morning from where the whitish spot on the fish's head is a huge gapping hole! And Ive noticed also that the other fishes have their tails and fins like rotting away. Help!!! How do I prevent fin rot and fungal infections once and for all? Whats the best way to cure fint rot and fungal infection in goldfishes? Help Help Help

I was going to buy a large tank for my goldfish who is now living in a temporary bowl (don't worry, TEMPORARY) but the tank can fit another goldfish. I really want a fancy goldfish, but my comet goldfish will tear its fins and is faster and it'll eat its food. Has anyone successfully kept a comet goldfish and a fancy one together?

Hi guys, I want to know what's the name of the fish that is popularly known to tail or swim with big fishes/animals like dolphins or whales. Sometimes they mistaken divers to be big animals too, so they kind of go with them. Any idea what I'm talking about? Thanks

I have been day dreaming about making a bigger aqurium and started planning it all out: a 16 ft by 4ft by 4ft tank. But I've run into a slight probelm, where am I supposed to get the Acrylic? because the tank is 4 ft tall the acrylic has to be 1 inch thick.
Witjh this in mind, I searched the internet for a probable seller of acyrlic, all of which had an over all price range of about $3500 for the amount of 1 inch acrylic needed to make this tank.
So I'm asking those who have actrually made their own tank before, where do you get the acrylic to make the tank?

I am getting a large tank for goldfish and I already have a baby comet goldfish in a bowl (it's temporary) and I'll put it in the tank but I do want more goldfish in there. I want fancy goldfish instead of the regular comet goldfish, but I know that fancy goldfish aren't aways very hardy. I want a breed that IS pretty hardy. So what is the hardiest breed of fancy goldfish AND AND AND how much do they usually cost? Now I'm not talking about a show-quality fancy goldfish, just a normal one. So please help...???

My mother in law is an older woman who can not care for her tank. She kills every guppy given to her, and she cries over them because she feels she did something wrong... I want to find a hardy fish that can take a harsher environment with higher levels of ammonia. I am the only person who can keep the tank cleaned, but I dont live there and I can get to it maybe once every 2 and a half months. She needs something that wont die off after a month. Any suggestions other than any type of guppy? It is a 15 gallon tank, by the way.

My aquarium is 10 gallons, 2 months old, and has 5 adult guppies in it and 1 baby guppy. I have 3 plastic plants in there, and a thing that blows bubbles, if I lowered the water level, and put something where the frog could get to the surface, would it be OK to put some tree frogs in there?
