Breeding Cherry Barbs is fairly easy as the males are almost always willing to mate. The problem is, when the pair are done laying eggs (they scatter from 200-300 eggs at one time amongst the substrate), they will try to eat as many as they can. It's important to watch them closely, and remove the parents as soon as they are done with the mating process. After that, make sure you incubate the eggs in a dark environment, and they will hatch usually within 24 hours.

Good luck!
