I'm looking to buy a small aquarium shark and I'd like to know where I can buy one, for how much, what it takes to care for them, and what other species of fish they are good with.

I used to have two bettas in small one gallon tanks next to each other on my book shelf. I got them almost a year and a half ago now, and about a month ago, one of them died. The other one has always been really active and also quite large. Lately I've noticed that he seems more lethargic and he also seems to have lost weight. Even though he is still swimming around and eats all the food I give him, he's just not quite the same. Could the other fish dying actually have an effect on him?

I was thinking about getting a fish to live in the kitchen (no I'm not going to eat it) but I was wondering what I'll need, do I really need to get a filter? How big a tank will I need for about 2-3 small goldfish? My kitchen gets pretty freezing in the winter, will they be alright?

My goldfish currly's eyes recently began to get this pushed out look, they are still flat but it looks like his eyes are bigger and extended farther out, not flat with his body. the day before this happened our air pump began to pump more air into the tank than normal. He is eating well, and behaving normal, but this funny look to his eyes have me worried. He is the only fish in the tank, and I have had him almost 2 months. We had to deal with ick the first few weeks, and I treated with salt, then 2 or 3 weeks ago I noticed a few white spots so i changed 1/2 the water and retreated with the Aqarium salt again, his body looks fine, its just his eyes look odd. Any tips or any thing would be helpful, i just hope he dosnt have anything.

I have a two year old little boy and he drank fish tank water (he cupped his hand and drank it like that). The filter works really well, and the tank looks clean, but he's been saying his belly hurts. The doctor says it's nothing, but he is not getting better. Maybe I'm a bit paranoid, but I'm worried. Can you get anything from drinking the water?
