hello...my golfish is having white slimy patches after being sucked by my sailfin cory and algae eater...i alrdy quarantined 4goldfish and 1died alrdy...all cory and algae eater were removed alrdy...now how to treat my goldfish?? they dun seem to get better after i use the general aid for fish...

They are so many! 3 of my Oscars and 2 cichlids died all of a sudden. What kind of parasites are these? How come thay are in my tank?

Dude my fish run into eachother on purpose alot its soo funny and one of em runs into the wall... lol they are on crack i swear!! Yeah and they keep swimming to the surface and when i go closer to look they swim back down every time!?!? What is they're deal!?

I have 2 oscars in my tank, they been together since litle guys. I know the nature of these fish since i have had several through out the years. Now suddenly it seems that one of the fish fell in love with the airerator tube n bubles, I mean obsessed! It became quite agressive to the other fish. This morning i found the smaller one loged underneath a stump in the bottom of my tank.Still bearly alive but alive. sides of the fish were verry scraped n fins tor up, so close to death that the eyes were turning white.It still had some fight so i dont just call it done. Now 14 hrs later the eyes are cleared up ,seems to be breathing better,but still floating on its side.The other oscar keeps rubbing its side on the sick one and blocks the other fish from getting close.Is this a way to kill the fish off, or is it trying to be of help?Should i let the fish stay in the water to see if it will pull through?Seperate them or what?It still has enough to kick around when bothered. What to do?

i have this water conditioner. its an 8 ounce bottle. anyway, it says add 5 ml.per 10 gallons of water. I have a 1 gallon tank and have no idea how much to put in. also, i dont have a dropper to count out ml's so how many drops should i put in of it for a one gallon tank? i dont want to underdo it or overdo it. Help?

I have a 55 gallon tank with 2 independent filters (no bottom filters though). In that tank I probably have 8 live plants, 2 red tail sharks, plecostamis (misspelling), 9 neons, Betta and 2-3 other fish. I have had the tank up and running with fish in it for about 2-3 months. However, during that time it always appears cloudy. Tested the water and it said that our nitrates / nitrite levels were off and that we should try adding algie. Added Biospira, it will fix the tank for about 3-4 days then BAM, back to cloudy.

I am hesitant to do a water change because the water is so bad where I live that I am scared it will mess up the tank even more.

Aside from Hiring someone to come in and get it good. Are there any ideas to get me back on track with the tank?

My beta is losing his color in his face area? Why is this? His color seems good throughout his body area. He's blowing bubbles and seems happy. I just got him though. He may be stressed out?

I just got a new Betta fish from Petsmart, and I got his little tank set up and everything. Then I remembered! The poor little guy was nameless. So, anyone have any good names for him. (He's red, and a shiny light blue just before his tail, and his tail is kind of a dark, shimmery blue.)

i wanna remodel my tank its a 50 gallon....I read that cichlids enjoy having caves in the tank i been to petsmart and they dont have anything i like especially at a good price....rite now i have this castle thing in there and some plants....wat do you recommend getting or is there anything i can make houses for them that wont harm them????

I know bowls are bad and should only be used to put flowers or your keys in and a few of you realize this too.

So why do stores continue to sell them? Or betta vases? Or anything less than a 5g?

Also, why can't they include a bottle of START RIGHT with the purchase of a fish (which they will carefully monitor and make sure you know what you're doing with those babies)?

What else would you like to see pet stores do when it comes to fish?
