Divide 5 by 10. That should give you 0.5 (or 1/2) ml. Add that to your 1 gallon of water.

Dont worry too much. Water conditioner is one of the few things you do not have to worry about adding to much of.
5 ml is probably about a capfull of the bottle. Just put in like a quarter of a capfull and you will be fine.
I have used up to 3 or 4 times as much as necessary and NEVER had it affect the fish in any way.
I was the assistant manager at a tropical fish and pet store with over 120 tanks. We did not have the time to sit there and measure out the conditioners, so we would guestimate and then double, just to be safe.
Never lost a fish to this!!!
So if you ar worried, jsut treat it like a 5 or 10 gallon tank and you'll be fine

you need 0.5 ml
5ml/10 = 0.5ml/gal
1oz = 29.4ml
8 oz = 235 ml
1 tablespoon = 15ml
1 teaspoon = 5ml
now from experience 1 drop will equal about 1 ml (depends on the sie of the drop....)
how you get half a drop? what id do..is get 2 gal of water add one drop mix it up well and use one gallon now...and one gallon a month or so from now.....whenever you change the water....or just throw the other gallon away....
alternatively---buy a medicine dropper and a 10 ml graduated cylinder/ beaker
but one drop in a gallon wont hurt either....close enough

Are you sure you only have like a small 11 inch fish bowl? I bet it is 10 gallon, I could be wrong. Look on the side of the bottle they usually have marks on it.

It's up to you, but we have 3 aquariums, 20 gal, 27 gal, and 44 gallon. I squirt in each one; no measuring. Just one good squirt. For yours I would put in 1 teaspoon.

your ratio is 1:2, so you need to add 1ml
in 1ml you have about 8 drops (using a standard size dropper)

Well, you are to add 5ml/10gallons, so that's the same as 0.5ml/gallon. So you need to add half a millilitre (0.5ml) to a one gallon tank. Anyone know how to easily measure half a millilitre of liquid?

Use a teaspoon very little but make sure you have plenty of air bubble movement in the tank so it can circulate

you need to put in 0.5ml, and you can't really measure that by drops. see if you can get a needless syringe at a local vet and do it that way. and 0.5cc is equal to 0.5 ml.
