The dog can go in your face but if you put your face in his he will growl and show his teeth. He has bitten me (2.5 years ago) and I don't know what to do. My husband thinks we should put him down as I am having a baby. I could never do that, he is like a kid to me. Please help I am willing to try anything.

I have a 5 year old and 4 year old malitpoo I was wondering if they are still able to get fixed or might they be too old. My dogs are normally really good dogs and are indoor dogs they only go out when i take them on thier walks and they are not hyper but i heard that getting female dogs fixed prevents them from having ovarian cancer and in general fixed dogs live longer is this true?

my dog growls when i pet him and he's eating, i'm not gonna have this , but i want to do it the right way. He's only 6 mo. old. he's part rott. part german shepard. Do u think i could stop it by showing him i'm "alpha male" by grabbing him and telling him no when he goes to bite? I guess i'd like have my arm and hand with a bunch of towels or something. I'm guessing this wouldn't work tho because i'm sure he'd challenge me later? am i right or will this break it ?

While at the store on Saturday, I spotted an extremely cute puppy running aimlessly around the parking lot.... couldn't be more than 2 and a half months old.... looks exactly like a black lab, he ran up to me and I immediately put him in my car.
Now, with my career, I do not have the time to take care of a dog but I was a little concerned about this lil boy.
At first, I thought the puppy was a female b/c of the enormous, protruding belly that it had, thinking that it was pregnant, but It's a male and I am a little concerned because, seriously, the belly is about as wide as the puppy is longways.
Like I said, this baby looks exactly like a lab puppy.
Anyone know what could possibly be wrong with this puppy?
Today, I thought it would go down (thinking he ate too much) but his stomach looks exactly the same.
Worms maybe?
Let me know what you think before I take him to the vet tomorrow morning.
Thanks.
(btw, I'm not planning on keeping him, I'm just concerned for its well being)

Bindi was in her first shows this weekend. Didn't go great, but went really well considering we've never done this before. I've never even seen a dog show other than on t.v.

We have a few things to work on yet, one is her expression, getting her to perk her ears up when we come back to the judge after gaiting. I tried bait, and a squeaky toy this weekend. She ignored those in the ring, but didn't outside of it. The last time we showed I think the judge may have had something to do with it, Bindi didn't care for that one for some reason. The other 3 didn't bother her, but something about this judge just didn't fly with Bindi. We'll avoid showing under that judge for awhile.

Anyway what has everyone else used in the ring to help? I thought about using a duck call, but figured it would be a tad bit to loud for the ring.

Thanks in advance.

His blood work came out wonderful, but his chest xrays indicate that he has a mass. The vet thinks its probably cancer, but I've also been treating him for an infection. He's been eating like a horse but he has a bad cough that hasn't improved in the past three days of treatment. I won't put him thru chemo, but is there anything else I can be doing for him?

This question is more targeted for conformation, but I'm in juniors as well. I imagine the answer would be the same.
