That you'd either better not drop food, or you'd better be fast enough to catch it, because if it hits the floor, it's the DOG'S!

If you blame your stinky farts on the dog, when the dog finally DOES fart, everyone will blame YOU.

Hi, Honey! You already know this, that is why I am guessing the question is here, but here you go....

I have learned some very valuable lessons today.

1) Briars and long haired dogs do not make for good friends. However, they do get very close!

2) I do not have what it takes to be a groomer!

3) My groomer will make a house call on a Sunday if I am crying!

4) The dog's fur WILL eventually grow back. (So I have been told!)

5) Dog's can get embarassed!

My boy has taught me the real meaning of love. I could not bear to think of my life without him, I know my missis is lovely too, but my dog doesn't give me verbal diahorrea all day.He has taught me that I only own 10 per cent of the sofa, he owns the rest. He has taught me that I must go out in the rain to walk him, whether I want to or not, he is never far from me, even when he's not there, I am brushing him off my clothes, or pulling part of him out of a sandwich. my dog has taught me that I don't own him, he owns me, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

My dog has taught me that there is a such thing as unconditional love. A dog's love is unconditional. Not matter what you look like or how much money you have your dog still loves you. Your dog is by your side when everyone else isn't.
Even when your dog doesn't feel good they still show you affection and remain positive. Even when dogs have 2 legs they still make the best of life. It has taught me that even when I am feeling bad and sick or upset I should still remain positive and have a positive outlook on life.

On a lighter note pomeranians have taught me that every meal I eat I always eat their fur. My dark clothes always have fur on them.

i have always had dogs in my life and we raised dogs when my kids were small too. i think owning them makes you patient, careing, happiness and being able to show love not just to an animal but to people as well.it taught my kids how to share and be gentle and when the time came that our pet died it taught us all how to grieve and go on. so there are many valuable lessons to be learned just from owning a dog.

there r many things that dogs can teach u
-there is such thing as unconditional love
-dont spend ur life worrying about the past or the future. live in the moment
-but most of all, dont go to bed mad at someone. u never know when that person or animal could leave ur life.
i had a close encounter nearly two years ago with my dog sammy. he had things lodged in his intestines. my vet said that it was possible that he wouldnt make it. i almost lost him that day. now every night before i go to bed i say i love u to every person in my family including my pets. u never know what could happen through the night and living with the thought that u didnt say i love u that last time would be terrible

I have owned many dogs through out my life. Each one of them has taught me valuable lessons.

-Don't wear good cloths around a long hair dog unless you are going to leave the house immediately...lol

-Staff. Terriers make awesome family pets

-Border Collies are insane...lol..(I have a yellow lab/border collie/ wolf mix He is insane...lmfao very friendly but scared of everything mostly my fluffy slippers he pees and puts his tail between his legs every time i put them on...lol)

- And no matter how many times you tell yourself when you get a new pup that i don't want to get to attached so I don't get so hurt when they pass away...You just can't help falling in love with your dog.

Yes I have.

Mistakes in training aren't the end of the world, they just make things harder - same thing with a lapse in consistency.

I can have a long-haired dog; it's not as hard as I thought.

I don't know everything about dogs.

I no longer trust other people to train my dog correctly - you'd think this one would be easy...

There are so many more...

They have taught me patience, how to laugh (even if you come home and your love seat is a pile of fabric and stuffing in the middle of the living room), and the feeling of unconditional love.
