Take a look at your puppy. Is he thin? Has he lost weight? Is he eating quite a bit less than a week ago? If you can see his ribs, he's probably too thin. If he is fat, active, bright eyes, peeing and pooping normally, he has probably slowed down in growth so doesn't need to eat as much.
Most dogs prefer to eat more in the evening than in the morning.
If he is thin, take him and a stool sample to the vet for a check.

When a dog reaches 6 months old i was told by my puppys veterinarian that he should only eat once a day. Try mixing it with canned food if he seems like he doesn't want to eat at all. I had the same problem with my maltese, consider buying beneful dog food, my puppy loves it!

Puppys don't usualy eat allot, but if he really isn't eating much you can try:

-Buying a different kind to see if he just dosen't like the kind you buy
-Mix wet food, with dry food, to see if the food you give him is to dry
-Give him more water, that way, he can be filled with water, so he will be healthy
-Give him more treats, he might be on strike or find somthing else he might be striking about

Test different things and see what happens\

But you are probably just a bit to worried about this, as long as he is eating you should be fine.

Hope this helps! =D

If you want your puppy to eat more, put some water in his dry dog food! My dog loves it! My friend taught it too me! But don't put water in it more that once every three days! Eventually he or she will get into a habit of eating it regularly. THats what my dog did!

My dog is like that. He just doesnt eat breakfast. I do mix canned or homecooked in their food for variation.
I think as long as the dog is acting normal and not lethargic then it's fine. If you notice a change in his behavior you may want to skd a vet visit.

Whatever amount it is that the dog eats in a day, split that between the two meals. He may be being offered too much.

It's okay. A puppy knows when/how much it's supposed to eat. Unlike people, who can't control themselves.

As long as he isn't skinny he's fine. Some dogs just like to eat at night.

My dog is like that and she's perfectly healthy.

Well, you don't want him to eat too much. He'll get fat. As long as he IS eating, you should be fine.
