I just caught my dog eating my jack-o-lantern. It doesn't appear that he swallowed any, but just in case, is he going to be OK or should I take him to the vet?

Pumpkin actually can help an upset stomach in dogs. At my vets, they'll mix canned pumpkin with powdered medicine to make it easier to ingest. Great source of fiber.
Of all the bad things he could've eaten, pumpkins definitely aren't one of them.

it will be ok. Pumpkin is good for dogs.. a little canned pumpkin is reccomended when a dog has constipation or diareah. Too much may cause some diareah, just like too much of anything will, but it wont hurt him.
My dog was enjoying pumpkin carving LOL.. we gave him some peices to eat.

Pumpkin is fine for dogs. (Depending on how much the dog ate, it may have diarrhea from the sudden change in what he/she eats, but it is not toxic. Even the risk of diarrhea is low, pumpkin is a home remedy to treat both diarrhea and constipation, but in smaller amounts [several tablespoons, depending on the size of your dog].)

For now it should be ok.
ut once he gets diareah, throws up, or acts different then take him to the vet right away. But for now he should be fine!

as long as it is not fermented he should be fine
a drunk puppy is not fun, especially if you have to hold him hair back while he is puking.
keep him away from everything hell get drunk and who*ish
and keep the phone away no drunk dialing

pumkins are fine for dogs hun dont worry my labs eat them every year no matter what we do... and they love pumkin pie too

most dogs if you let them are vegetarians and it won,t do him any harm at all
