Hi! My son and I have been doing a lot of talking recently about adopting a dog, and, although I know he's probably mature enough to take care of one, I can't help but wonder how the new dog will react to my 11 month-old baby. Does anyone have any suggestions on whether or not it would be O.K. to adopt a dog with a baby in the household? And, if so, what measures can I take to prevent and possible injury to my baby by my dog?
Thanks!

Ok so I was getting ready for a party at my friends house, and she has this almost 2 yr old chocolate lab. We were sitting in the kitchen and she just peed all over the floor. She has been housebroken since she was a puppy. Usually when she has to go she goes to the door and barks, but she didn't do anything like that. And then we took her outside and she did it again. What's up with her? I know she's fine, but any ideas why she just blew off all her training?

I'd like to switch my dogs to a healthier diet, but I am unable to switch to a completely raw diet due to time and safety issues for my children.

I have a female german shepard, she won't behave on walks and if I correct her with a choke chain or try to train her on flat collar there is just no hope. She will no get her attention fixated on anything else even despite the uncomfortableness of the choke collar being yanked. Do you think a prong collar would better help me with that? Im sorta cautcious because i dont want to use it wrng, and i heard they pop off if you yank on them too hard which wouldnt be good if your dog is trying to get another aggressive dog. Also. What size would I get her? Medium or Large?

I just bought my little puppy from a private owner. He is a male rottweiler. I found out two days later that he has roundworms. I bought an over the counter dewormer from petsmart until i can get him into the veterinarian next week. this is his last day taking the medication. but his appetite still is not improving and his poop is a clear to cloudy gel like appearance and sometimes have what looks like traces of blood. Is this normal when deworming your dog. someone please help me because this is my first puppy so i really don't know.
