Ok so I was getting ready for a party at my friends house, and she has this almost 2 yr old chocolate lab. We were sitting in the kitchen and she just peed all over the floor. She has been housebroken since she was a puppy. Usually when she has to go she goes to the door and barks, but she didn't do anything like that. And then we took her outside and she did it again. What's up with her? I know she's fine, but any ideas why she just blew off all her training?

Oh and by the way, I don't think it was a last resort for her wanting attention, i mean I hate to sound so immature but it was like a waterfall. and then she went outside like 2 minutes later and peed more. Could it be some kind of thing where she like isn't absorbing what she is drinking? that's kind of ridiculous though...

IMHO this has nothing to do with house training. UTI or hormonal issues. Ask your vet if this persists.

First thought is a bladder infection, which requires a diagnoses from a vet. Next thought would be a fear situation which could cause her to urinate. Last thought would be in all the pre-party prep she was ignored and left with no other recourse.

The only time this happened with my female dog was when she had a UTI. It hurts and they can't control their bladder.
She really needs to be seen by a vet.

My dog does this sometimes when she is sick. My boy has never done it but she will. It's happened twice since i've had her.
