Are puppies born one color of eyes and then they change to the true color like humans?, and if soo how long does it take them to reach their true color?

Yes, they are born blue and change. Usually by 6 weeks they are another color. Though the color can darken or lighten for months......much to the dismay of many breeders who are looking for a dark eye and it suddenly goes light at 10 weeks.

My shepherds when i got them there eyes were abit darker and now they have light brown eyes. So i guess yes theya re like Humans in that respect.
