I don't want any rude answers, or anyone telling me that I shouldn't sell them because they are mutts...or about all the dogs in shelters. So only reasonable answers please!!

I have a purebred Shiba Inu that I payed 1400$ for, and a purebred Poodle I payed 400$ for. This is the 2nd liter of puppies. I charged 50$ before because they were mutts. I did some research on the internet and found I could charge about 300$ for them.
I was wondering if 200$ would be a reasonable price. The first liter everyone wanted these puppies, they are absolutely adorable (even though they are not purebreds) they have the cutest face...I kept one of them and when everyone seen him they wanted him, asked if there was more, everyone wants these puppies.
I'm not trying to make a "profit" or treating my dogs/puppies as a product, I payed alot for my dogs, and feel that 200$ is a reasonable price, just asking for opinions. If you want to see pictures you can E-mail me Stuckinyourheart@yahoo.com

Break into a home that has a dog in it such as an Akita or Rottweiller etc?
Would you be less likely to break into a home with two Akita's or Rotties in them?
Some burglars break into homes to steal the dogs! I own an Akita and will be getting another soon ( boy/girl ) set up. Would you be less likely to break into a home with two guard dogs in it? Or does it not make a difference.

My mother is in her sixties. She was almost burgled a little while ago. I have studied for weeks the best dog for her and her husband to have. I don't want a watchdog it must be a guard dog. It must only require limited exercise and not be too big so that they can control it. Again I don't want a watchdog and nor do I want a lecture on why watchdogs are better. I want a guard dog only. I am struggling to find a dog that meets the requirements. Which breed ( of guard dog ) do you reccomend for a couple in there sixties?

OK, I am just kidding, really.

My real question is about shedding.

We have a Border Collie/ Sheltie mix that we adopted from the shelter a couple of months ago. She is shedding insane amounts of hair (I am pretty sure we can build another dog out of the hair I have cleaned up) and I realize this is normal during summer. I know she will still shed during the winter, but will it be a lot or will it chill out a bit?

My question is : why don't they ever walk them?? :)))
I rarely meet a well balanced pitbull.
It could be my fault though, as we don't frequent run down hoods.

My 19 month mix just got entropion eye surgery on Tue. (an inverted eye lid, rubbing on the cornea)The Dr call and said everything went well and he was very aggressive with the surgery to make sure the lid won't rub. I went to pick my baby up.... and what do you know they did the WRONG eye. I have him in surgery once again today because his eye is very painful and of course this surgery is free ( I paid $1000.00) before I saw him come out. Anytime any animal goes under it's dangerous... Should I ask for some money back for being incompetent? Is that some sort of malpractice? Oh and the eye that should of been done has a huge ulcer on the cornea that even a child could see... which means he didn't take the time to examine him before sugery.

My dog is 9 months old, and as yet hasn't gone into her first season. Some vets are happier to do the neuturing prior to their first season and some vets prefer it after their first.

I am not sure what to do?? I am wondering if anyone can tell me their own preferences/personal experiences and which they feel is better?

Also can anyone tell me.. after the dogs first season, how long do you have to leave it for, afterwards, time-wise, to get the dog spayed??

I'm hoping someone can help! All advice is really appreciated. Thankyou for taking the time to help me :-)

My mom adopted a dog from the H.S a couple years ago, well she moved and left the dog with me,well I gave the dog to my daughter who lives with her dad in the country, this dog has never been aggressive towards anything, hardly ever barked, well my daughters neighbor said that this dog attacked one of his kittens, this is a lie,Dolly would have never hurt another living thing! I have witnesses to this FACT! This neighbor has a couple of pitbulls on chains out there, and supposedly let one of them loose to attack and kill her, there is a witness to this as well, and this is not the first time they have done this,I don't need to get into any trouble over this, what do you reccommend?

If you were a dog, and had the ability to build your own "residence-home", what would you build? I'm building a house for myself...and I thought my dog would love to enjoy some new features too. A big lawn to run? Lots of shelter? Dog-tramploine? Some small mountains to climb...like a minigofl? Dog-pool? No wait they dont like water...Go wild, be creative...I would love to hear from you your crazy ideas.

About 4 or 5 days ago my sister noticed that her dog was being lathargic and had "funny" looking eyes. He has been eating but not drinking, even from, his favorite, the bathtub. He started to lose weight and biting at his skin (there is nothing visible on his skin and he has been given frontline so it's not fleas). She took him to the vet and they drew blood, gave him an IV to rehydrate him and put him on antibiotics. He has been on the antibiotics for two days now and he's still acting the same and he is becoming dehydrated again. She tried to call the vet and can't get an answer from anyone about the blood tests...she's called 4 times. Does anyone know what his symptoms might mean? She's freaking out and I can't even begin to think of what may be wrong with him. Thank you!!!
