Well, being a groomer I encounter many breeds..and I honestly can't say that there's one breed that I'd prefer over another. Dogs of the same breed can and do have very different personalities. :) I really fall in love with a dog's personality more than their breed.
However, I currently have a Golden Retriever and a Chinese Crested Dog, so I'm partial to them :)

I must say I have 4 favorites: the Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever, Poodle, and a friendly rare breed called the Swedish Vallhund. Purebred Labs and Lab crosses have been the primary pets of my family for years. They are eager to please and love a good run. Goldens are less dominant than the Labs and that beautiful gold coat is too much to ignore! Poodles have a hypo-allergenic coat and can have various haircuts on them. Vallhunds are versatile, and their tails vary, even among individuals. That's what I like.

Boxers, I have had two, one still, one deceased. I had a Great Dane for a little while, but she also passed. Boxers are very good dogs, and they look amazing. They are very good with children, and they play, and sleep just about as much as you want. If you want a playful dog, choose a boxer, if you want a quiet dog, choose a boxer, I have found that if you train them properly, they can be whatever type of dog you want them to be. The one I have now tore both of her back ACL ligaments in her knees, so she has definitely lived up to her name...."BooBoo"

My favorite is a pit bull, even though they get a bad rep. They are really good w/kids and very affectionate and loyal. I've got one at home and I could trust her to stay alone w/a baby. They're a great dog for the family.

My favorite dog is always the one I currently own. I have owned mostly mutts saved from the SPCA and a few purebreds too. Collie, Cocker Spaniel, Jack Russel Terrior, Husky cross. The ones you save are always the best because they are so grateful...

Well, I have a German Shepard mix & a toy rat terrier commmonly mistaken for a chiuaua. The German Shepard mix is a VERY friendly dog. The toy rat terrier is VERY cute, but she also barks a whole lot. I love my own dogs the same a mmount, but i'd have to say i like german shepards!

My most favortie dog is a Boxer. I think they are sooo cute and very smart. My Boxer is 1 year old and soo playful he does so much. I like the little eyes and soggy skin. My Boxers name is duke its a boy. What your favorite dog?

Blue Heelers and Huskies.
They are really smart and friendly and just because they are beautiful. I own a five year old Blue Heeler with rare fur. His coat is mostly brick colored but also has combinations of sand and grayish-black underneath, and his eyes look like those of a lion. I love him.
