I've posted flyers, listed him as missing on the net, contacted vets/humane societies/shelters/etc, filed a police report and I don't know what else to do! If you can help, I would definately appreciate it!

He's a 9wk old papillion/chihauha. He came home and laid on the couch and slept, He got up for about 25-30mins to explore/eat/bathroom and played a little but just went back to sleep. He keeps waking up about every 30mins to just move or stretch and goes back to sleep! Is this normal? I have never had a puppy sleep so much!

It has been recommended that I try the Natural Life Lamaderm Puppy Formula, for our new puppy that we will be getting at the end of March...I have always used and believed in IAMs....but one of the first few ingredients in IAMs is Corn meal....which they say is not good.....so I am curious as to what someone may know about Natural Life Lamaderm Puppy Formula...Thanks

have had one of the dogs for two years, got other as rescue this year. they seem to get on fine but when we take them for a walk as soon as he gets off lead new dog runs up to other barking and nipping at rear end and older dog turns and attacks. they can fight for 2mins or longer. once fight is over they are fine again. if new dog kept on lead they walk side by side, but i feel dog needs off lead for proper excercise. i think it could be a habit but would like to break themof it, no fight yet very serious but could happen and dont want badly hurt dog.

It seems to be a nervous function at rest. The teeth clatter, but not all the time -- perhaps 10% of the time.

She is a 37 pound Jindo in otherwise good health. The vet was not worried, but it seems to be getting worse. They clatter when she is inside, usually lying down. When she is outside roaming and playing, it does not happen. Any ideas?

She is a rescue a year ago, so I can't decide if this is just an acceptable nervous response, or if it is a nervous disorder of a degenerative kind. She is 3.

Thanks for any thoughts!

I was snuggling with my pet poodle and happend to feel a lump on her side. She has an appointment to see the vet on Tuesday. She seems to feel fine, and she doesn't seem to feel any pain when I rub the lump. If you have ever had a similar experience, what did your vet say? I know the vet will tell me what she thinks on Tuesday, but I am still worried. When you love your pet as much as we love Lexie, Tuesday seems FAR away. Any input?

My Sociology 100 class requires me to watch the Westminster Dog show which occured a few days ago and write a paper about it from a Sociological Perspective.

I am very confused on this matter and am wishing someone can give me some guidance and/or help.

My puppy started showing mating behavior(I can't be more specific because Yahoo won't let me) at the age of three months. At first I thought I was just mistaken, but now he's four months old and he is even more explicit. Is this normal for such a young dog?

If so what are ways you use to keep them warm.
Right now i keep a 40 watt heat bulb in her dog house and check often that its not to hot. its a well insulated dog house with a window so i can see her when i look out and she also has a heated water dish.

Everytime I hear about a dog, its a Lab. I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback, but no one talks about them. I had labs and loved them, but it gets old.

Looking for a family dog/watch dog. We live in a 5 room house. It has a 200 foot backyard with woods. We live in a medium size town with mostly elderly . Looking for a dog that will bark to let us know of prowlers when we sleep. Also has to be good with kids. It will be kept in the house instead of a doghouse. The dog will be let out everyday to play in the yard and exercise. Thanks.

The attitude really started to surface last Sunday afternoon. Ive got a 2.5 yr old husky, pure breed. had her for almost 3 months now. she has been really good up till last Sunday. lately she has been doing things that she knows not to do. going through the sink or draining board, taking dishes, pots, pans, silverware. going threw trash (inside) dumping it on the floor. jumping on things -table chair . she really only does this when im out. but i have caught her on the table. she also doesn't respond/listen to commands as well as she used to. just looks at me with one of those "i don't think so" looks or just runs the other way. being extremely snotty to other dogs. ive been trying to discipline her by changing feeding or just taking food away all together. putting her in the cage. pretty much everything shy of hitting her (there is some grabbing though. i think she knows better, she just rather not do it or don't do it. ya know what i mean? today was the last straw. i was so angry.
