My chocolate lab retriever 10 years old Shae and I got kicked out of the mental health. All because she bark and growl at other service dog. My dog is never mean to people. She get along with my younger dog at home. But any other dogs she'll bark and growl. They said we are not allowed back to the mental health because my dog bark and growl at other service dog. Shae is on the leash, I have her with me all the time. Do you think the mental health can do that? She my service dog to help with my panic, anixtey, depression. Without her I'll go in attacks. Beside she doesn't really run into service dogs that often just once in a great while.

We have a 7 year old female Estrela Mountain dog mix who we adopted 8 months ago and we've recently noticed she's been scratching a lot and when you part her fur her skin is very dry and flaky. Has anyone else had this problem with their dog and were their any products you used that worked well? Thanks!

A vet told me that the once a month heartworm prevention medicine is safe and even if a dog has missed several months and has heartworms it won't kill them and may even help. Other vets say that it is necessary to test first. Who is right?

When I called my vet, and talked to him about it, he told me to try Hydrocortisone Spray with Aloe Vera. Before I use it though, I just wanted to know if anyone else, has used it on their dogs. Did it sting them when you put it on, or where they ok with it? Did it help them, or make it worse?

ok, i have had my dog for 4 years now and he has been great. he is a 5 1/2 yr old golden retriever and he has just started a few new habits and we absolutely cannot get him to stop!! ok, first of all, he's eating just about everything in sight--incuding a whole loaf of bread, $140, my daughters math homework (3 pgs), a whole paperback book....shredded. im getting worried that he is sick but i dont know why he has just started this habit. the other one: he doesnt get on the furniture any more, i dont kno why. he has been welcome to do this and always has, but now hes almost scared of it, and weve had the same couch since we got him. we havent made any big changes in life where he would be stressed about anything, but we did move about 3 months ago. he was find, and now were completely moved in now and he just started this. PLEASE ANSWER I REALLY NEED HELP!!!!!!!

My puppy is 6 months old. She is very hyperactive.
Any ideas on how to get her to calm down? She goes for a walk everyday and gets to go outside after I get home from work.
We also play tug-of-war and toss with her, but none of these activites seem to help her settle down.

My vet said this is ok, but I just wanted to get a second opinion. Is Vaseline a safe product to use on a dog, for rashes and dry spots?Has anyone used it on their dogs? Why did you use it and did it help?

My dog had major surgery - she had lung cancer and they removed her left lung. She almost didn't make it but by some miracle she pulled through! She will be coming home in two days and I would like to know what we need to do to prepare for her homecoming. Do we need anything special? What do we need to know? Can she go out to go potty? What do we feed her? Any information you can offer will be most appreciated!

My boyfriend's sister is going through a rough time right now so I'm taking care of her 2 year old boston terrier until she gets some healing time. The only thing is...he's just INSANE. Granted a majority of his life has been in an apartment kitchen, and sometimes the actual apartment...is that what is making him so crazy? Or are they supposed to be like that? Crazy as in...he RARELY stops running fast and jumping and breathing heavy and oh my gosh PLEASE HELP!!!

I have a male boxer, 17 months old, and I absolutely adore him. The problem is, he only seems to listen when HE wants to, and he is starting to be agressive toward other people/dogs when I take him anywhere. Not trying to bite or anything, just barking and intensely watching and pulling. Any suggestions on getting him to listen and be calm around people!?!?
