I'm wondering if this would make flea control a bit easier.

My dog takes Program and has Frontline Plus. Program seems to work well, but I'm no so convinced that the FP is working. I have Capstar in case I see fleas, and I do sometimes. I just wondered if there was something more effective.

They used to have one, but have since taken it off the market becuase it was killing them.

No, the best solution right now is a product like Frontline or Advantix that is applied to the skin at the back of the neck. It's easy and lasts for about 30 days.

Program injectable but not all vets will carry it. Monthly control with Frontline, Advtange or Advantix

no ... try frontline... you only have to apply in once a month.. make sure you flea bomb the house ( inexpensive, but follow directions carefully) and vacuum alot...

Such an injection is certainly available for cats, so I presume it is also available for dogs.
