Be patient and figure out what you want to teach it also play with her until she calms down before even attempting to train her because she won't pay attention otherwise. For sit chose your hand signal and say sit and use your thumb of your other hand and push down on her hind quarters not hard but enough that she sits down. Praise her calmly and give her a treat. Training sessions should be only about 10 mins they don't have the attention span for it. Leash training: put the leash on her and follow her around with it so shes comfortable. Eventually start leading her around don't get mad when she fights but tell her to come. Buying a book would really help Email me if you need any more tips

Use clicker training. Although my puppy went to puppy classes you can use clicker training at home. Also use hand signals as the puppy will pick this up quicker than your voice. Type clicker training on google/yahoo i'm sure you will find out where to buy them. They don't cost much and some come with a handbook. Always click then treat that way the dog associates the click with the food. This worked wonders with my puppy. Good Luck!!!

If you are unsure of how to train it, why not just take it to obedience classes taught by a professional? That will be a lot easier for you than trying to sort through the various articles on the internet or the various books in a bookstore. Not all are good ways to train.
A professional trainer will also be able to individually work with you on specific issues your dog may be having, whith you aren't going to get from looking on the net. Taking your dog to obedience classes is one of the best things you can do for her

start with the book "before and after you get your puppy" by dr. ian dunbar.
please also realize that your puppy is too young to be away from its mom. the minimum for taking a pup from its mom is 8 weeks and for many toy dogs it is older. i think the chi club of america suggests 10-12 weeks.
*****a puppy at age 7 weeks is learning manners from its mother and the start of bite inhibition which is why staying with mom is so important.
so be patient and realize that whatever you are teaching her may be a little more difficult because she is supposed to be older. now 1 week doesn't sound like much but that is 1/7 of her life so far---or 5 years to a 35 year old.
good luck.

praise, praise, praise! the pup will respond better to positive reinforcement than scolding. reward him for good behaviour with treats, and lots of love. don't get me wrong, sometimes they need to be scolded, but spend more time congratulating.
