We recently bought 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies, both from the same litter and 10 weeks old.

We chose the two we considered to be the best quality, having owned this breed for 14 years and considering going into breeding. However, the smaller puppy Alfie died this morning.

He had always been much quieter than his brother but had never shown any other signs of illness, he just stopped breathing.

We contacted the breeder and he has offered us a replacement puppy for half the price.

We were just wondering how we stood legally? Should we receive our money back?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I have a teacup poodle (female) and I am interested in breeding.
I really love this breed because they are very intelligent and hypo-allergenic. Where do I begin with the breeding process?

I have two lab mixes and I'm getting hair everyone and on everything. I've bought suppliments, but my dogs wont eat them. Besides, for their weight it'd take like 8 pills a day. I couldn't afford them!

I'm combing them all the time, I vacuum daily, and I still have hair everywhere. I was doing weekly baths, but I was told that can make it worse. Is that so?

Any tips on how to deal with this. I love my dogs, but I'm getting really tired of hair everywhere!

He is terrified of the vet office and I can't imagine saying goodbye to him there. I can't find a vet to come to my home either. I want to load him with pain killers when the time comes so he will just go to sleep but someone said that won't work. Please Help with suggestions :(

even if you talk to her when she is eating she growls really badly. she has always been a hungry dog but i just thought this was cause she had come from a big litter of pups. if you dare to go near her when she is eating she growls and looks like she would bite and as i have 3 young children this is quite worrying. also she likes to try and get food from beches or the bin and if you try to retrieve any food of her that she has already taken i believe she would go for you. help us please

This anxiety came on suddenly.
There is no apparent reason to me for his sudden panting, pacing etc.
He used to enjoy the ride.

I've been asking my parents for a puppy that will stay small forever. My parents said no. But I am mad because I told them I would pay for all of the dog and supplies. We already have a dog but its big and is not allowed anywhere but outside and I want my own dog. Am I being Stubborn?

Sometimes my spouse leaves paring knives on counter - which irritates me - I'm afraid the dog will jump up and grab it in her mouth. I know she's looking for food. We feed her well - We used the command "off" & it doesn't work very well - she'll get down , but do it again later & again.

I want to get a puppy from a pet store but I am only aware of 2 pet stores near me. They are called the Pet Company one is in Crossgates and the other is in Colonie Center. Anything around there that sells puppies would be a great help. I know some people are against getting puppies from pet stores, but I'm not (anymore), so please leave any comments about pet stores and how they supposedly treat dogs, or how it's bad to get them from there, please leave out of your answers. Thank You. - Val
