I think it is true, but just to make sure, you could check a few websites and things. My dog doesn't like grapes and raisins so I wouldnt know by experience if they are bad.

In sufficient quantities, grapes and raisins will kill your much loved pet. To all the people that feed them, and say that there is no problem, I can only reiterate that I would never take such a high risk.

It's true about raisins. They are lethal in large amounts, and can make a dog sick with diarrhea or vomiting with a small amount.
Dogs also cannot handle chocolate or onions.

True...they cannot break down or digest the enzymes. Sometimes the fruits can even cause blockage in the intestines.
Just avoid giving them, and DEFINITELY avoid feeding a kibble that lists these as ingredients.
Also, some nuts are also toxic. I wish I has the list.
If you want a healthy alternative, try carrots, apples, pumpkin, squash, zucchini, and bananas.

Yes, because a dog's stomach and intestines are not designed to digest this type of food... They were meant to eat meat, not slightly acidic fruit. It will give them intestinal upset if you feed them grapes or raisins.

i dont think that is true. i have a dog that loves grapes, she has been eating them for 5 years and she has never had a health problem. some dog breeds have more sensitive stomachs so that might be why you heard that it was bad for dogs.
