I got my purebred corgi last year. She has just finished her first heat and the vet told me that it would be best to get her pregnant after her second heat. Unfortunately, breeders only allow dogs that are registered. How exactly do I register my dog? I got some info from the pet store but they told me I have to do it online or over the phone. What exactly do I have to do? What do I need to have?

I think exercising is very important, but with 200 combined total weight of the dogs, I can't just walk them.
Haven't found a quiet field to take them to.

We tried legal method but the county rep was completely incompetent. So we just decided to move. But until then... the dog barks CONSTANTLY!

Any ideas that don't involve dealing with the owner are welcome (because according to him, the dog never barks).

Hi, My dog was injured this weekend adn now has a bandage on her leg. She is dying to go for a walk adn run but as I was told by the vet , not to get the bandage wet, what can I put on it to make sure this doesnt happen? She is a dalmation adn needs her exercise, and I need to get back into her good books as she holds me responsible for taking her to that nasty place (the vet).

My Megan turned 10 in November and for the last week has been lying in my bedroom when I get home on top of "an accident". She will get up to eat or drink, but her back legs have been giving out lately. Last night she went outside and could not get back in. Her legs giving out again. We finally picked her up (ouch) and got her in. She has been crying all night. I'm afraid that its time. Any suggestions or ideas? Am I doing the right thing? She's seems like she is just miserable and disappointed in herself.

I purchased what I thought was a 3 pound at most, stud quality male. From WWW.YORKIEBABIEDOLLS.COM from Don Montgomery.
What I received at the air port was a 3 pound starved pup, ridden with coccidia, a second row of teeth, and definitely not of breeding quality. He is now a 6 pounder with a terrible coat and huge ears. But it gets worse, 2 months later he starts limping on his back leg. He was diagnosed with leg-calf Perthes disease and required a $1500 dollar surgery. This disease is inherited from this parents or someone in his parents line, I told Don about this yet he still breeds both the parents EVERY SINGLE HEAT!!! He has way to many females and I know now that he is running a puppymill. Don offers a health guarantee but he does not stand by it at all. I am just devastated that I did not do my research on THE BREEDER before I purchased. Don does all his business through the internet, so please spread the word on his horrible puppymill and hopefully we can put him out of business.
P.S. Fabio had his surgery and is recovering great!
Now Don is trying to call me a liar and say I am the only one to complain about his horrendous breeding practices ( BREEDING A FEMALE EVERY HEAT )
I have medical receipts proving how much the surgery was. But I will now purse a case for the price of the dog and the surgery costs.
I wish I didn’t have to go through this, but I truly know in my heart that he is BAD NEWS.
STAY WAY!!!!!

I might be getting a Min Pin and I wanted too know if there is anything special I need to know about them. The one I am supposed to get is living in a crate and ignored. It needs a new home where it can roam free and get the love and attention it needs. I love dogs, have a lab mix that has been with me the past 14 yrs and is a member of my family. I want to make this new dog a member also but don't know a whole lot about them. Any info would be appreciated.

Idiot dog....I hope she was sprayed in the face that smelly *****. Either way, need help getting it off of her. Now, I think the humane society will put her to sleep, but that seems drastic. I'll clean her up if it's not too much work......

I had my toy poodle neuterd in 2/2006 at 6 mos of age. He has never humped me or any other person or dog. He is partial to stuffed pigs and bears and he has been humping alot this past two weeks. THis is my first dog so I over react alot but last night he had something red with a blub looking thing at the end and it was protruding from his penis. It was dragging on the floor and it scared my dog and freaked me out. It went back in within 10 min or so however he was very frightened for quite a while. Excuse my ignorance if this is normal. I need to know what it was.

Its pretty rainy outside and I have been waiting to get a crate. My dog is a shorthair aussie shepherd and he seems to have a cough. Does he have a cold? Should I give him doggy cough syrup? He's perfectly fine besides this cough and our 3 other dogs are fine (sleeping inside)

I was wondering if anyone could tell me why my puppy is throwing up this foam like liquid. She hasn't done it recently but a few weeks ago she did it at least twice. She has all her shots, I'm not sure if it's the food I feed her or if she's allergic to something or if she just keeps picking up crap from the floor and getting sick from it. Has anyone had this experience with their pups? I plan on taking her to the vet this week, I'm just wondering if anyone might know what is causing this. It actually looks like flem, but I'm not sure what it is.
