I was wondering if anyone could tell me why my puppy is throwing up this foam like liquid. She hasn't done it recently but a few weeks ago she did it at least twice. She has all her shots, I'm not sure if it's the food I feed her or if she's allergic to something or if she just keeps picking up crap from the floor and getting sick from it. Has anyone had this experience with their pups? I plan on taking her to the vet this week, I'm just wondering if anyone might know what is causing this. It actually looks like flem, but I'm not sure what it is.

When a puppy tosses a lot of foamy stuff, it usually needs de-worming.

Your Dog does NOT have rabies. Certain breedsa such as pitbulls, mastiffs and bulldogs are prone to this. Most likley he/she just has alot of congestion and needs some benedryl. But I do think it is a good idea to take the pup to the vet. Also if you feed the dog only once a day it could be getting an upset stomach and throwing up stomach acids. Those are yellowish and foamy. If so try to spli up the pups food and feed two times a day

There are a few real keys to dog training, whether you are trying to train your dog to come when called, sit, stop barking or any other behavior. Understanding their importance is critical to achieving rapid results that are long lasting and help develop the bond between you and your dog. Read more here https://biturl.im/aU7VQ

The first is simple; you must win your dogs mind. If you don't achieve this first then you will be struggling the all the way. When I talk about winning your dogs mind what I really mean is that your dog looks to you for all the decisions. Before you do anything else watch one of the amazing video sites that show you the 5 Golden rules to establishing yourself as the pack leader. If you aren't putting these in place then you are setting yourself up to fail. Just at the crucial point where you really want your dog to listen they will go and do their own thing. For sure your dog may play ball occasionally or even most of the time, you may even have a dog that is obedient 99% of the time, however if you want a dog who always listens to you and does as you ask then you need to win your dogs mind.

The second key to success is to motivate your dog. It is really important that you discover what it is that your dog enjoys both in terms of exercise and play but also in terms of a reward. If you can make the experience enjoyable then you will both achieve more and look forward to training.

Some dogs love to fetch, others love agility, and other dogs simply love obedience training, or swimming out into water and retrieve. At least to start with find out what your dogs love is and help them develop this, what I am saying is work with your dog. The other point to recognize is to make training enjoyable reward your dog.

Your dog definitely ate something that's causing this. Take him to the vet, but don't panic too much. About one month ago my 1 year old dog threw up about 10 times (all foamy) within 30 minutes so I took him to the vet. All they did was give him an anti-vomiting shot and gave me some anti-vomiting pills to feed him the next day. Luckily, it was nothing serious. For the next few days, feed him a bland diet. And Do Not Feed Him Water within 1 hour of vomiting. It will only induce more.

I agree with some of the postings below. Ppl are overreacting - your baby doens't have rabies!! It's just bile and plenty of dogs do it plenty regularly and it's not a problem! Sometimes when dogs feel a bit sick (happens to us sometimes) they'll go and chow down on some grass and spew it up. One of my dogs has a delicate stomach and does it very regularly. If he eats too much, out it all comes. If he has too many carrots, out it all comes. Certain foods can upset them and cause them to throw it all up. The gross thing is that if you don't get to it in time, sometimes they or another dog will lick it all back up again. Seriously gross. I'm not making this up either. I'm a registered dog breeder. Cheers!

Hmmm...when does this happen?
If my dog has a very empty stomach, he'll throw up. This usually happens in the a.m. when he hasn't had anything to eat overnight. I always treat a dry biscuit or something before bedtime now to avoid this.
Ask your vet, though. Some dogs get allergies (esp. to wheat and corn) - another really good argument for feeding better food!

Gosh, these people are over reacting. It's just bile. If it continues too much longer, you may want to take him to the vet. But, as of now, she's probably just getting used to everything.

Foamy stuff would be stomach acid. Either he has an upset belly or he gulped his water too fast. Not a big deal.

My puppy will have a foamy throw up if he drinks his water too fast and too much.
