my 2 dogs continually potty in my house. I can get them to stop for awhile, I have a dog door to the back yard, and I have swatted their butts but I think they do this to punish me. For instance, Yesterday I gave these dogs flee baths and dried them then later in the evening I put their kennel on the back porch and kenneled them outside while we flee bombed the house and went to the movies for awhile. While i was sleeping last night one of them peed on my bed at the foot where he was sleeping. So I kenneled them both outside again. I am FRUSTRATED HELP PLEASE

i have a decker sized rat terrier. he is agressive with other dogs (more like bossy not aggressive), hyper, and stubborn, but briliantly smart! We taught him how to ring a bell when he needs to go. Is there any way to make him less hyper and agressive?

I have a Yorkshire terrier named Ozzie (he's a real cutie) and my best friend/roomate is going to get a Maltese, and she needs help naming it. What would be a cute name to go with Ozzie? The Maltese is, I think, going to be a girl.

I thought of Sharon (you know, like Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne) but she doesn't like that idea.

The largest collars for sale in my area (even special order) are only 30". My 11 month old Saint has such a block head we can barley get that on over it. I am sure he is still growing because he is still Leggy. My boyfriend makes them for me but, they arent as strong.

My mom has a lab with fairly long nails. I trip the tips every month...but they grow faster than I can trim. I am afraid of trimming shorter because I don't want to hurt him or make him bleed.

I use baking soda wipes on her weekly and clean her ears regularly. She is still smelly. I bath her every two months and don't want to bath her more than that. It doesn't seem good for her to do it more than that...but it isn't good for anyone else when I don't do that.

i have raised 5 puppies with adult dog food. my friend has raised 20.. THe dogs are working dogs and atheletes. Puppy food is a marketing ploy... when A dog is born as a wild dog do you think the mother says hmm you cant eat that deer because only adults dooo.. Dogs are not humans they are animals just like a horse or cow....

Please be patient for more details read about my question about the wolf-hybrid you know me as laelanure and please keep your bats down and no need for strait jackets. Actually I could care less who thinks I am a freak each but I just need to know if things like my story has ever happened before. See, ever since I learnt that I was the only one who could approach a strange wolf-hybrid I have been asking myself is this a common occurrence. I am beginning to realize at times asking the question is much harder than the answer and I am at his point now. In a nutshell is it a common occurence? I have tried finding information on the internet after my experience and it has happened twice. My best friend in JRH made the comment to me when her wolf-hybrid literally came to me and licked my hand that she never saw him act like that before. "He hates strangers it's the wolf in him." My cuz told me that he growled at her and she's better with dogs than I am.

However my father is an asthamatic and is allergic to dogs which shed hair so Im looking at breeds with minimum maintenance and who do not mind spending time alone in the yard or the kennel (as the yard is fenced there will be no need to chain the dog.)A loyal breed which is good with elderly people at the same time intimidating to strangers. Ive heard of a local breed called the "rajapalayam" which is supposed to be good if trained well (however this a sight hound ), am also considering the following breeds , german shepherd , boxer , great dane and the labrador , pls tell me what breed you think would be the best to look after my Dads house and still be a good enough companion for small walks around the country side. We have owned dogs before but they were mixed breed , this is the first time we are looking at pure breds , the average temp. where i stay (Kerala) is around 35 deg. C (HOT) and its quite humid and sweaty , also we have rain showers approximately 6 months of the year.

We have a cross Labrador/Golden Retriever puppy. She is 16 weeks old and is still really biting us HARD!!!!!!

We have tried spraying her in the face with water, smacking her nose, telling her NO in a loud voice and even holding her down on the floor until she calms down (although this sometimes makes her worsse).

She also has a habit of rolling over onto her back if you touch her collar to put her lead on. Then she refuses to get up. Any ideas???????

please help because I love her when she is calm but when she goes into a mental state she is quite frightening. I don't know whether she will just grow out of this and not to worry too much or should we take it very seriously?

Thanks to you all.
