My indoor dog won't stop scratching! She's bit and scratched herself raw just about everywhere she can reach! We've gone as far as shaving her in the raw areas to see if there are any idications, but nothing is obvious. She doesn't have fleas or ticks and she doesn't have a reason to be nervous or upset. My outside dogs are fine. Please help!

My kids have a black lab that is 11 months old. Beautiful dog but dumb as a box of rocks. We live on a farm and tried to let the dog run loose but she won't stay away from the horses. She has been kicked more than once and I am afraid they are going to kill her but she keeps running right back to them and now even though she has her own pool has decided to sit in their water troughs to keep them from drinking. Today one of the horses bit her hard enough to draw blood and although she yelped and ran to me for care as soon as it was cleaned up she was back out there. I don't know what else to do and I don't want to have to keep her in a kennel any one have any suggestions.

He also always pees on top of my females urine in the yard. I know he is marking his territory, but why is he doing it to me? Does he think he is higher in the "pack" than me?

I love beagles, but I have terrible asthma and allergies. I plan on going to get allergy shots, and after receiving those for awhile, I hope to get a beagle puppy. Does anyone know if Beagles are ok dogs for people with asthma?

My pug is very overweight and the vet said to cook for him, using ground beef, chicken or turkey and vegetables. I don't know what to do or how much. Any pug lovers can help me?

i recently adopted a yorkshire terrier that was rescued. and he seems super skinny. i have had male yorkies before. and they were skinny. but this one just seems extra skinny. he refuses to eat dry dog food. so i have started giving him beef stick snacks, and other doggy treats. should i just let him eat whatever he wants to fatten him up. or should i hold out, until he starts eating the dry food. the people at the rescue said he would eat dry food. maybe he just needs more time to adapt? what do you think?

Seriuosly, he acts nuts! I have a Golden Retriever, and he NEVER barks. Not when people come to the house, NEVER! Now, we like the dog whisperer... And have been putting him in the breeze way when he is on, but he STILL goes crazy, barking, running in circles, jumping up and down, it used to be funny, but now its just plain freaky!!!!

Has anyone heard of bitches having inverted teets?

One of my bitches has 2 inverted teets and she engorged at first and then she was fine. Has anyone had similar experiences? I will no longer be breeding this female so please no nasty emails saying she has a faulty gene blablabla. My sister has inverted nipples and she has had 3 children. She was able to breast feed from one breast and then decided to suppliment with formula as well to make life easier on herself. Female dogs have MANY teets and tiny poodles such as mine never have huge litters anyway. I do not breed show quality dogs, my pups are healthy, well natured pet quality pups.

They are sooo sweet though, but just not registered.

I have a male toy poodle. He is 7.5months old. And one of his testicals has now dropped. How long before the other one is supposed to drop? At what age should I be concerned? I would like to use him as a stud but I obviously will not do that unless both his testicals have dropped. Otherwise off with the boys!

If anyone has any experience with males and their jewels, please respond all input is appreciated.

Do all corgi's make the funny "wookie" sound in the morning? Our vet has a corgi also and asked us if ours has started "talking" in the morning yet. Is this something that the whole breed does? Ein has done it since day one, and we love it; it's so cute! But why do the only do it in the morning? Just curious.........:)

I thought it was just a sore at first from playing with my parents dog, but it has not gone away in over 3 weeks. The fur on it looks as if it has fallen off only on the lump itself. I am worried sick because I heard there is a cancer they can get but the vet told another boxer owner that it usually goes away by itself. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks so much!

I have been feeding him Purina puppy chow, not my food of choice but we just got him, and I want to wait to switch to a better food. I have been feeding him 3 times a day, once at about 7:30am, 3/4 cup, and again at 12:30pm, and again at 5:30. The last 2 nights he has had terrible diarreah, and is throwing up large amounts of almost digested food (it doesn't look like kibble, more like a pile of poop). In the morning and throughout the day he is happy, energetic and eating and drinking. Am I feeding him too much?
