I have to leave my 1 year old puppy at my sister's house for a week. We aren't supposed to have her at our apartment and our landlord has to do some repairs. Will she remeber me when I go to pick her up? She's my baby and I love her so much and it breaks my heart to be away from her for a whole week. Is she going to be sad to be away from me?

We rushed him to a vet (this all happened after hours) and the vet gave him a antibiotic injection as well as a cortesone injection. I told him that on the way to the clinic, my dog did not breath well. He did not open his mouth to check his breathing or check his throat. He listened to his hart and said his breathing was fine. He told us that we could take the dog home but we must realize the swelling will only go away in four to five days time, but we do not have to worry, our dog will be fine and won't die. We paid and took him home. I laid him down in my room next to our bed on a mattress with a blanket over him and gave him milk. He died six hours later. I feel that the doctor did not do enough and am wondering if there is anything I can do. I have lost my dog and will never have been back. Please give me advice

my dog had puppies exactly 3 wks ago, and she is already trying to wean them , is this normal?
these puppies are huge already, they have teeth , they are getting around real well and are able to eat and drink on their own, but aren't they a little too young to leave the mother?
she still lets them nurse sometimes just not as often as they would like

Has anyone's dog got into fish food? Just curious because my sisters dogs ate almost an entire jar of fish pellets for ciclids this morning. I'm thinking it won't really hurt them, maybe give them an upset tummy. She's just wondering if she's going to come home to a big mess.

My dog has no hair on one side of his neck. He's a miniature schnauzer. I thought it was just from chocking him with the choke chain but now he's getting a little rash. What could it be and what can I do?

I'm getting ready to sell some puppies. They are healthy and have been vet checked and vacinated .There is a form that says they are healthy now and have no diseases NOW. i don't want anyone to come back to me later if anything does happen to them. I just don't know where to find the form. I haven't sold a puppy for 20 years and just want to protect myself.Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Patticakes

I personally believe once a day would be correct.....more often should not be necessary to good health and is a burden on the owner and leaving food out all the time seems inapproriate and possibly bad health wise for most dogs.

I have a 9 year old golden/husky cross. I had a baby in June and had to move. I left him in the care of my boyfriend and though my boyfriend takes the best care of him he can, he isn't home that often. I try to get out there once a week to visit, but my car is broke down right now so I can't visit very often. Skeeter is not eating well and is becoming super depressed. I have him visiting for the week but he cannot stay. I am trying desperately to find an apartment but I have found almost none that will let me take my dog and the ones that do I wouldn't want to live in. I cannot give him to someone else he would be heartbroken. I feel so badly. There is not much I can do until I find a place that will let me keep him. Any advice?

Our 12 y/o Golden/Lab mix has stopped eating. We think he has a bleeding gastric ulcer. No appetite, nausea, black stools, etc. He has gone from about 95 lbs to 65 lbs. He is so weak. Our vet gave a course of Sucolfate but that didn't really seem to have much of an effect. What should we expect, what should we do and when?

My pitbull doesn't seem to understand how to play fetch. She runs to get the toy, but doesn't want to let go & has more fun getting me to try to pull it away from her.
