I'm trying to get my dog to balance a treat on his nose, then flip it in the air to catch it. He will balance the treat, but then tilts his head down so it falls off. How do I get him to flip his head back so the treat goes in the air for him to catch??
Thanks.

We have a three year old female German Shep, and I am pregnant. Just wondering if anyone here has any experience on bringing home a new baby to a house with a big dog. She is very protictive of our family, and does not like other dogs, so I'm a bit worried. Any advice?

My friend told me unwanted/unclaimed animals in shelters along with roadkill are reprocessed into dog chow. Anyone know if this is true?

They are starting her on sterioids and I am wondering what I should be watching out for and what I can do to comfort her. I know to keep plenty of water available and buy really healthy food for she won't eat normally. We just found out yesterday and I am hoping the medication will stabilize her. She is only 2 and sometimes she acts perfectly normal and other times she is quiet and looking tired. Any suggestions.

I am looking for a dog/puppy and I have recently fell in love with Miniature English Bulldogs. Are there any downsides of getting one? I know they are not suppose to have any of the health problems like the regular size english bulldogs, won't overheat as easily, and will live longer. Is all of this true? Are there any other problems that are an issue for this breed of dogs? Would you suggest this breed?

ok, i have a 3 month old german sheperd, and when i let him outta his kennel to play, if i turn my head for a SECOND, he either has his head in the cat box or he just brought something outta it, its the clumping kind. i also have a 4 year old jack russell terrier and i have seen her do it before to. NOT often tho. like once a couple months. why do they do this?
i know some of u will say to pick the cat box up and put it higher, well i have tried this and i dont really want a cat litter box on my counters,

why is he doing this? i heard he could be missing some kinda nutrients or something? has anyone elses dog done this? serious answers PLLEEASSE

we have three dogs... one of them gets diarrhea a lot and has accidents on the carpet or in his crate.... i just took him for his 6 month check up and he doesn't have any worms.... so i am wondering what else can cause a dog to have diarrhea.. there is a warning on the food we feed them that feeding too much can cause diarrhea...so we are planning to reduce the amount of time that the dogs can eat to thirty minutes twice a day instead of having food out all the time... do you think this will help? what do you think is wrong? he is 4 years old..... and this is a fairly recent problem.....

A stray dog (6-9mo old lab) recently adopted US. We've had no luck finding the owner & are thinking of keeping him, however we have NO IDEA if he's housetrained. All we know is he pee's everytime you reach down to pet him. He think he may have been abused.
