They are starting her on sterioids and I am wondering what I should be watching out for and what I can do to comfort her. I know to keep plenty of water available and buy really healthy food for she won't eat normally. We just found out yesterday and I am hoping the medication will stabilize her. She is only 2 and sometimes she acts perfectly normal and other times she is quiet and looking tired. Any suggestions.

There are many kinds of autoimmine diseases, which kind?

I lost one to autoimmune hemalytic anemia. If this is what yours has, I would look into putting her on Azathioprine as well. I think it really made a difference for mine.

Treatment is the same for animals as humans. Good diet, moderate exercise, and medication, with abundance of love.

There are many types of autoimmune diseases...without knowing which one she has, I can't answer your question. Good luck.

I feel sorry for your dog, but when it goes off having multiple sex partners this kind of thing can happen. You should be ashamed for letting her out to go harleting around. I should report you to the SPCA. You make me sick !!!
